About this deal

Its hinged design makes it easy to set up and take down, and it folds flat enough to fit in any pocket. You can also burn cat litter (wooden pellets) and with a full load get a burn time of around an hour. As the fire consumes the longer sticks, just keep pushing them in a little further until they’re fully consumed. After lighting (and once the twigs are burning well) place three or four long (>30cm) pieces of wood through the hole at the front, directly on top of the smaller pieces of wood.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: No fuel canisters, no chemical emissions, no batteries required, less carbon footprint. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. It’s little more than a hinged stainless steel unit with one corner that connects into a square that is held together with small metal tabs. The loading and lighting of the stove couldn’t be simpler, stand twigs or batoned wood upright below the level of the upper ports wedge in some cotton wool or birch bark, light and wait.

Note: Wood Stove ONLY, other items displayed in pictures are for illustration purpose ONLY, they are NOT included in the listing! That way I tend to just keep feeding the fire and it’ll burn along with minimal wood for a good long time. With no need for fuel canisters or batteries, we could cook our meals using twigs, branches, or leaves we found along the way, reducing our carbon footprint.

Nonetheless, the Lixada Titanium Folding Wood Stove remains an excellent choice for those seeking a lightweight and environmentally friendly cooking solution. Additionally, the set includes a mini alcohol stove with clear gradations for easy use, offering an alternative fuel source when necessary.STURDY STRUCTURE: Strong stainless steel construction creates a stable platform for your cookware, very durable.

Long story short is that air is drawn through a chamber, heated and mixed with the wood gas and injected back into the flame giving you a secondary burn increasing efficiency and removing any smoke and the endless scrubbing of soot from your pots. Try to get a 3-4cm depth of twigs, mainly packed towards the back of the unit (away from the large hole in the front). Watching review after review of the market leaders I decided to spring for the Chinese knockoff of the Solo Stove in the hope that I would end up with something usable at a fraction of the cost. I usually spend 15-20 minutes gathering wood and breaking it into 4-10cm long pieces and that gives me enough to keep the fire going for 1-2 hours. It works even better if the longer sticks are actually pointing slightly downwards into the stove - so try to find a stone that is slightly taller than the bottom lip of the front hole of the stove. It will boil enough water to make a brew in a 58 pattern mug in 3 minutes and doesn’t burn so hot that food gets incinerated. There are many versions of this stove some without the port but the performance is the same just the need to remove your pot feed the stove can become tiresome. You can reverse the fire nest to enable you to either use the bowl provided (I use this to hold my fatwood scrapings in) for burning meth’s or whack a burner in there.

Cook a meal with easy-to-find, unlimited fuels like wood, twigs, branches, leaves and paper to cook a meal wherever you set up your camp, no chemical emissions, no carbon footprint.Built tough: Made of hardened stainless steel, the stove is meant for rugged backpacking and camping.
