This isn’t me, but a picture from the manufacturer. When it’s cold out, this is how I wrap up inside it and stay nice and warm. I`ve yet to use the Snugpak Jungle Bag for more than a couple days at a time, so I can`t personally speak on its antibacterial, antimicrobial, and odor-reducing properties.

The ripstop outer shell provides peace of mind that even if I do get a tear, the blanket is not going to be useless. We like that the Jungle is machine washable. Like any blanket or sleep bag, we strongly recommend using a front-loading machine and steering clear of any machine with an agitator. However, this caution is especially true of this model specifically because of its minimal stitching between the underside and insulation, which we suspect would separate much faster if it is washed in a top loader. Should You Buy the Snugpak Jungle? Another thing I love about the Snugpak Jungle Bag is that it`s hooded with a built-in bug net to keep bugs away. You can use this bag straight on the ground (aka cowboy camping) without a shelter. I’ve had my Snugpak Jungle Blanket for a while now and have not had any reason to believe that it won’t last me many years or rough camping. There isn’t really a great way to rate comfort other than to tell you this blanket is really soft and comfortable. WarmthI highly recommend this Snugpak sleeping bag to anyone looking for a lightweight, ultra-durable bug-out sleeping bag for use in mild to warm weather. It can easily withstand a light sprinkle or a splashing and keep the insulation dry. But a heavy rain or submerging the blanket will result in the insulation becoming soaked. Performance when Wet Snugpak has mastered the comfort factor with the Jungle Blanket while making it water resistant and warm. The Jungle Blanket has a soft comfortable feel that literally surprised everyone who’s had a chance to use it when I’ve taken it on camping trips. Not Much Insulation Although it performs relatively well in temperatures down to 45°F, this bag is really best for minimum nighttime temperatures about 15°F warmer than that. It`s certainly not suited for winter wilderness survival.
