This versatile product also acts as a great basecoat for new external doors and window frames which can then be overcoated with Sadolin Extra, Sadolin Clearcoat, Sadolin Yacht Varnish or Sadolin Outdoor Varnish for a durable, protective finish. Sadolin Classic Wood Protection absorbs deeply into the timber to provide exceptional protection against the weather. Please Note: If using this product on decking, be advised that it is only suitable for new decking or decking that has been completely stripped or sanded back to bare wood. You need to ensure that the surface is well sanded with a fine to medium grit sandpaper, then use methylated spirit to remove any grease.

We do our best to represent colours as accurately as possible however screens variations and different surfaces can alter this. Not suitable to use on surfaces previously coated with a medium/high build coating such as an opaque wood paint.It works with wood by providing a flexible barrier that protects the wood from damaging effects of rain, moisture and UV light. Alternatively use Sadolin Classic All Purpose Woodstain to add colour to interior wood, followed by a protective topcoat of Sadolin Polyurethane Varnish or Sadolin Polyurethane Floor Varnish.
