The PreSonus PX-1 Large Diaphragm Microphone is a compact condenser microphone designed for musicians and live performers. It has a maximum SPL of 135dB, meaning you can record loud sound sources without the fear of distortion. This is the first inexpensive microphone I've owned that didn't have that 'harsh' high end like so many others. It has a 25mm gold-sputtered capsule that provides clear and clean response through its entire frequency range.
