Clearwater Clarifier contains flocculants which bind small particles of debris and algae together so that your Lay-Z-Spa filtration system can adequately remove them, resulting in clean and sparkly water.

In this guide we will outline the good and bad things about tablets, how to use them and answer some common FAQs.We recommend ClearWater® chemicals as they are continuously designed for and tested on Lay-Z-Spa® hot tubs. As a result, it’s recommended that you give a shock treatment to the water once a week during periods of heavy use. You can increase the chlorine levels in your hot tub by simply sprinkling the chlorine granules directly into your water (ensure the water temperature is over 20°C) or alternatively by pre-diluting in a container of warm water (this method should always be used if you're applying to a hot tub with a water temperature of under 20°C).

The number of bathers, water hardness and other outside materials such as mud, grass, and leaves will all affect chemical requirements. Untested water can develop a chemical imbalance which may result in an unhygienic swimming environment or skin irritations.

The chemical dispenser slowly releases the mini-tablets into the water, making this a completely hassle-free way of treating your water even for the user with a busy schedule. Alternatively keep the dispenser aperture constant and vary the tablets inside to achieve 1-3 mg/l (ppm). You can control the amount of chlorine released into the hot tub by adjusting the opening on your Chemical Floater or ChemConnect Dispenser so you can easily maintain a constant level of chlorine. Every attempt should be made to avoid mixing spilled material with other chemicals or debris when cleaning up. Tablets offer a good solution for those who don't use a hot tub for period as they ensure chlorine is dispensed slowly over time.
