While it kept me reading along, it almost felt as if each segment ending too quickly and could have benefited from more character building, even just having the puppies chat with one another could have helped build this world and interest that is full of so much cute possibilities. These stories are separate from the main thread of the middle story and are just a place for fun with the characters. The emphasis on Mocha is part of why I loved the Cinnamoangels, a girl-power triad devoted to fashion, fun, and cute boys that appears later in the series. She likes how it reads from back cover to front and it's begging me to find other books like the ones on this series.
