Because of its easy scoring system, it is thus a brilliant game that the whole family can play. It does say on the box ages 3-7, but the three of us really enjoyed being able to sit and play a game together around the dining room table. Is this a game you think you could enjoy? The game is aimed at ages 3-7, and for any more than 2 players. Each player takes it in turns to take a card from the top of the 2 piles of cards, marked “easy” and “hard”. They then have to make the sound depicted by that card. Players are not allowed to gesticulate or say words, only make noises. All the other players then have to guess what the noise is. However, a lot of games are a little too old for my almost 5 year old. We do need to find age appropriate substitutes. So when Gamely asked if I would like to review the new younger children version of their already successful Soundiculous game, I was very pleased to accept. We enjoyed this game a lot as a family, the simplicity of game play mixed with the challenge of sounding things out makes it a big belly laugher of a game for family games night.LEARN IN MINUTES, LAUGH FOR HOURS - Soundiculous takes just two minutes to learn and will have everyone in stitches as you realise that what you can hear quite clearly in your mind, can come out quite differently from your mouth! Simple rules and easy to set up so once they get the hang of it, kids can enjoy playing without grown ups. You can play with just two players or the whole extended family! As well as the traditional way of playing the game, there are also other alternative game suggestions for how to use the cards, including having a charades version where you could try and act the card out. Or for each player to do a drawing of the card to see who could guess what the drawing is first.Once a player has correctly identified the noise, they win that card. And the first player to collect 5 cards wins the game!
