About this deal

With the warmer months coming up, now is a great time to get the kids interested and wanting to learn more about the animals that are living in the ocean. This fun Ocean Animal Bingo for kids is a great way to show the kids all the different types of animals that are living in the ocean. An ocean-themed party means that water type games will be popular. Water balloon fights, playing in the sprinkler or even doing a slip n’ slide would be a blast. This free printable includes 10 Bingo Cards. And if you have more kids you can double up and play in teams.

When walking the coast you may find snails, crabs, and seaweed within tide pools or along the shore. Whereas to see whales, octopus, and sea turtles you have to go into the ocean. First you’re going to print the bingo sheets below (there are instructions for how to do that below). There are 6 bingo boards and one calling card list. I love all things beach related and an ocean-themed party is right up my alley. Parties that work for both boys and girls are my favorite kind. You can always make sandwiches and cut them out with ocean cookie cutters for a simple but fun food item. There are so many ways you can spice up this game! Just add some little prizes for the bingo winners. Some of my favorites for Ocean Bingo are these super cute mini stuffed animals. The ultimate winner could choose the dessert for the night if you choose.

Educational games are not only fun for kids, but allow them to practice important skills. From communication and making observations, to following directions. The object of the game is to get 5 matches in a row in any direction (vertical, horizontal, or diagonal). The first one to get 5 in a row yells “BINGO!” Ocean Bingo is such a fun chill game the whole family can play! It doesn’t take any skill and with the ocean pictures, even your little kiddos can have a good time playing! Ocean Bingo Printable On the right side of the shelf ( book on a wooden cookbook holder), I have National Geographic Kids Ultimate Oceanpedia (gorgeous photos and a fabulous reference book! ). When playing, clear plastic bingo chips or glass stones can be used as markers. Since this game is ocean themed, it would be fun to use small shells to mark off images instead!

Use candy or non-candy items as markers. When the image is called out, the player puts a marker on that image.Cut out the bingo cards. Each player gets a bingo card. If you have more than 10 players you can put kids into small groups to play together. Playing animal bingo is simple! You each grab a game card. Once everyone has one then the caller will turn over an animal card. They can choose to act it out including making the animal noise for everyone to mark it off their cards if they have it. Of course, don’t forget to show the picture as well. Y’all know how much we love bingo in our house! Between our seasonal bingo games like Fall Bingo, Halloween Bingo, or even Spring Bingo there is always a different set of cards to choose from depending on our mood! But I have to say out of all the choices my kids always get so excited when I pull out the Animal Bingo game because it is their absolute favorite. Not only is it fun to play but you almost can’t help yourself from making all the animal noises as you play!
