About this deal

Flood the battlefield with Khorne Berzerkers, the raging foot soldiers of the World Eaters legion. This unit of 10 Berzerkers is a close combat powerhouse, the perfect core for any World Eaters army. Jakhals The Emperor’s finest are the prime bulwark against Abaddon’s nefarious schemes, and this Boarding Patrol is typical of their brutal efficiency in such matters. You’ll be able to face any foe with a highly customisable Primaris Captain in Gravis armour , five Heavy Intercessors , and 10 Assault Intercessors . In a world of bloody Boarding Actions, it’s easy to forget the colossal battles that define the 41st Millennium are still taking place. Balefleets are the cohorts raised by Abaddon and Vashtorr, tasked with collecting the artefacts needed to complete their meticulous plan. This has a lot of value compared with the Space Marines box. However, you get the majority of it in Cultists and Abaddon, so if you don’t want either, then this is not worth it. This is a great value for those who need both cultists and Abaddon. Games Workshop has been previewing some new sets that are going to be coming soon to support their new Warhammer 40,000 game mode, Boarding Actions. There are going to be two to choose from, to begin with, focusing on the Space Marines and Chaos Space Marines of this 28mm Sci-Fi wargame.

Only showing 5x CSMs not 10 on Boarding Patrol photo is strange too, not showing all the minis included! But including a unique character like Abaddon ruins that box IMHO. Not liking this move to special characters in boxed sets much. Still might be interested in the boarding patrol set based on pricing but I would have much preferred a generic HQ to abbadon myself Mortis , by Horus Heresy veteran John French, sees Titans and their crews step to the forefront of the story, as the Traitor forces continue to break through the Imperial Palace defences and close in on the beleaguered Loyalists.

Is The Chaos Boarding Patrol Box Worth it?

Edit - just read the blurb at the end. Not that more models is a bad thing. Guess they just really wanted to call it a Boarding Patrol as a promotional tie-in. Great online store for board games. They always arrive perfectly and undamaged which is important to me. The map is a large-scale reproduction of the one found in the book, measuring 596mm x 420mm, and printed on cotton. It comes in a faux-leather wrap to keep it safe and let you roll it out dramatically, like one of Rogal Dorn’s sub-commanders pointing out weak spots in the defences. It’s secured with a leather cord and a metal pendant featuring the sigil of the Titan Legions. Launch your own Balefleet in games of Warhammer 40,000 with this boxed set containing 17 plastic Citadel: miniatures, led by a fearsome Daemon Prince. Alongside him are a massive Heldrake, a squad of elite Chaos Space Marine Terminators, and two units of mutated Possessed. This force makes a fantastic core around which to build your Chaos Space Marines army, or a powerful addition to an existing force. For example, what would this do against a Knight army? If you’re counting on your Havocs to do all the heavy lifting then you’ve never built that kit (psst, you won’t have enough of any one specific gun like…melta or lascannons). So, if I were building out this list, I probably would skip on the Combat Patrol for now.

New Boarding Patrols and Battleforce boxes - + NEWS, RUMORS, AND BOARD ANNOUNCEMENTS + - The Bolter and Chainsword Jump to content Of course, to play games in a spaceship , you’ll first need a spaceship – or at least a board’s worth of spaceship terrain, such as the contents of the Boarding Actions Terrain Set. This set contains two sturdy double-sided gaming boards and 68 pieces of massively modular terrain, which can be used for the Boarding Actions missions in the Arks of Omen series.

Chaos Space Marines – Decimation Warband

Here’s the savings and value breakdown for the two Boarding Patrol and Warhammer 40k Arks of Omen Battleforce box sets! Jakhals are brutal human cultists pumped with combat stims and eight drops of the warp-infused blood of true World Eaters, turning them into furious melee machines with no regard for their own lives. They’re effective fighters in their own right, and throw themselves into enemy guns for a chance to please their murderous god. World Eaters Datacards and Dice Set There’s still a lot of wiggle room for points there but this is a well rounded list. Still, I think it could use some more tweaks as it does a little bit of everything but maybe not enough of anything in particular to be “meta”— but I leave those lists for Goatboy. For me, this looks like a pretty fun list to play and play against. So…mission accomplished!

Both of the sets here are designed so they fit into Boarding Actions' 500-point limit and the other army building rules that we looked at last week HERE. That being said, the second of these sets focusing on the Chaos Space Marines offers up a few more than 500 points but that just means you can tweak as you see fit. From the grim darkness of the far future, to the equally grim darkness of the slightly nearer future, there are more Warhammer: The Horus Heresy torsos and shoulder pads coming for Loyalists and Traitors alike. The Emperor’s finest are the prime bulwark against Abaddon’s nefarious schemes, and this Boarding Patrol is typical of their brutal efficiency in such matters. You’ll be able to face any foe with a highly customisable Primaris Captain in Gravis armour, five Heavy Intercessors, and 10 Assault Intercessors. Not sure what game to buy next? Buy a premium mystery box for two to four great games to add to your collection! Buy Premium Box » Each of these Battleforce sets will give you a strong start to a Space Marines army, tailored to the way you want to play.On the other end of the scale are the Iron Hands, whose March of Iron Strike Force teams up two hulking Redemptor Dreadnoughts with 10 Intercessors, a Primaris Techmarine, and Iron Father Feirros. It’s just a little interesting to see who will buy these because players will need to grab the Arks of Omen book as well to use them in that game. Plus, if you already play Space Marines, these are probably units you already have.
