About this deal

Assembly can be challenging and time-consuming as the instructions provided aren't particularly clear. With a wide range of possibility for size and scope, there's no one right answer to this. The best piece of advice we have is to whip out the measuring tape. Whether you're thinking of slotting it in the corner of your living room, in the spare room or in your dedicated home gym, you'll want to think about the full extensions you'll be performing: how far will that leg curl or machine fly go? Think about the floor it's going on, too. Flat and stable is what you should be aiming for. What accessories do multi-gyms come with? Argos does not sell a Multi Gym 100kg. However, they do sell a variety of other weightlifting equipment and accessories that can be used to create a custom gym setup. For example, Argos sells weightlifting benches, barbells, dumbbells, and weight plates. With a little bit of creativity, one could easily put together a makeshift gym that includes a 100kg weight capacity. Can you buy a cheap multi gym 100kg?

In cases where a part suggested does not resolve the issue York Barbell cannot be held liable for any expenses incurred relating to fitting the parts or postage. As with any home multi-gym, the first step is always the most daunting – setting it up. Be under no illusion that the York Perform is just as labour intensive to put together as any other model on the market, and you should give yourself a good 4-6 hours to set it up fully. This is pretty standard and the instructions are very clear which makes the process a little easier than other models we have set up. So what are the main exercises you’ll be doing with the York perform? I’ll cover each one, with an explanation for anyone just getting into training. The lateral pull-down is one of the exercises the York Perform offers Upper BodyThe gym boasts a comfortable leg developer for extensions and curls, targeting both quads and hamstrings. The York Perform Multi Gym is extremely well made and is designed to last a lifetime. The metal frames are sturdy and the pullies can withstand daily use. In fact, they are, designed to be used every day.

If you are looking for a full home gym setup then the York Perform can certainly go most of the way in providing it. However, we would still suggest you supplement it with a couple of dumbbells and possibly a bench to provide you with stabiliser exercises and access to other compound exercises as well as a greater range of isolation exercises. This isn’t an absolute necessity and if space is at a premium, then this multi-gym and a set of dumbbells would suffice. The Verdict Several users found it to be surprisingly impressive for the cost. One feature particularly boasted about was its fold-away bench. This helps keep your room looking neat and tidy when the machine isn't in use. While it does take a little while to put together (apparently the tools that come included aren't very good), once up it's reportedly strong and sturdy. So far this sounds like the best thing since sliced bread but it wouldn’t be much of a review without diving into some of the shortcomings. On the whole, this is a good, solid home gym but there are a few things missing here. Leg extensions could be more comfy You'll also probably need to bribe a kind friend to help you set it up! So after all that hard work, what do I get for my money? While we are big fans of all in one trainers, there are trade-offs. They do tend to require more space, both for installation and operation. In addition, their price tag is a little steeper.Despite the fact it takes up minimal space, the Perform is incredibly stable and we had no concerns in this regard whatsoever. In fact, we found it extremely comfortable to use and for a home setup it strikes the perfect balance between quality, functionality and cost. While pulley multi gyms tend to have everything you need, other types might require extras such as additional weight plates for leverage gyms and all in one trainers. The leg developer isn't limited to just leg extensions and can be unfolded to also offer seated leg curls. Plus, the ingeniously designed chest press doubles as both a shoulder press and a machine row — a feature unique to the M5 among our reviewed pulley-style gyms.
