Before loading the bypass tray, close and then re-open the tray to reset the tray settings from any previous print jobs. Mobility Print gives you the option of permanently installing our MyPrint queue onto your device. It's a one-time install and then you can send print jobs to our printers from any of your apps. Mobility Print is supported on Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android and Chrome OS. What to Expect

Once connected to the Wi-Fi, navigate to this web link: https://mobileprint.staffs.ac.uk:9164/setup You can scan your stuff free of charge at any of the printers, which are actually multi-function devices. Hold your student ID card on the scanner to log in, then choose Scan on the screen.

Open-access computers, both PC and Mac, are available at various locations around the University, e.g the Main Library. From these machines you can send your files to the University's 'EdPrintPull (follow-me)' print queue and swipe your card at the printer to print them out. This service normally will be available 24 by 7 except for standard change windows, as described in IS&T’s standard policies, procedures, and schedules for making changes. We are also continuing to review the usage of all devices in line with a decline in print volumes over the last 5 years. We have identified a number of low-usage devices that we are proposing to withdraw and are continuing to consult with colleagues to ensure appropriate access to print services is maintained in these areas.

For the student print service, as part of the upgrade, we took the opportunity to simplify print charges. A4 and A3 charges have now been merged with A3 prices reduced. We have also upgraded the wide-format printing service with the provision of 7 new devices. The wide-format multi-functional devices now have ‘print and release’ functionality and we have located two wide-format devices in Hallward Library and Djanogly Learning Resource Centre for increased access.
