About this deal

Delighted with my invincible wheelbarrow with puncture proof wheel which has been doing tough work on my patio project. Would be useful if the wheel nut did not have a tendency to come loose but otherwise 10 out of 10. With a 65 L capacity, this wheelbarrow is suitable for most gardening jobs without being so loaded that it becomes unwieldy. If you have narrow pathways or tight corners to negotiate, the 62 cm width and one-wheeled design will help transport material without causing issues with manoeuvrability. If you’re working on very uneven terrain, for example doing building work, you might want to choose a wheel with a wider width so that it can spread the load better and a pneumatic tyre that won’t puncture. Designed for smaller DIY and gardening jobs, this wheelbarrow has a 78 L capacity which makes it easy to manoeuvre. It’s been built for everyday use, perfect for moving around soil, gardening tools, and other medium loads. Sure you’ll manage but steel wheelbarrows can carry more weight! Here is a list of jobs that you may be taking on with a wheelbarrow. 1. Using Wheelbarrows for DIY jobs

There are some jobs where even a standard, large 95 L wheelbarrow just won’t do. If you’re looking for something bigger still, it might just be time to bring out the cavalry. Tyres. These can be solid rubber, plastic or pneumatic. Solid rubber or plastic wheels can’t puncture or go flat but they are not as smooth in use as an air filled tyre and can struggle on very rough ground. Pneumatic, air-filled tyres can puncture or start to go flat and need regular pumping up but if kept well pumped up will they are lighter and give a much more comfortable, cushioned ride over bumps and uneven ground.Steel is far stronger than plastic, meaning even smaller steel wheelbarrows will likely have a larger weight capacity than bigger plastic models. Wheels. A typical barrow has just one wheel positioned towards the front of the tray but wheelbarrows can also have two, even four. Traditional one wheeled barrows are easier to manoeuvre around the garden and to lift and empty but they can tip over easily, particularly when turning with a heavy load or if filled unevenly. Two wheeled barrows are less likely to topple over but can be less nimble and harder to turn and lift and dump. The deep tray makes it easy to keep loading in material, making full use of the 90 L capacity whilst keeping things well balanced. It’s still not a heavyweight builder’s wheelbarrow, but when used with common sense it can handle pretty large loads. So far shifted 4 ton of top soil and 1 ton of gravel - easy and comfortable to use. Nice balance and appears to be top quality. I would buy again.

I am very pleased with this wheelbarrow, it is narrow enough to get into awkward spaces and deep enough to carry a lot. Unfortunately our wheelbarrow which was a Christmas present arrive Weds 13 December with bulges in the pan.We informed Wheelbarrows of this the following day, after a short discussion they advised us that they would supply a new pan. I feel confident that Wheelbarrows did not supply it bulged and it was probably done in transit. We had the replacement by Friday evening 15 December hence the stars. The wheelbarrow is quite sturdy and looks the good so we will see how it goes when it has been used. Than you Wheelbarrows We are known for making very high quality building products, and wheelbarrow is no exception, they are manufactured in the UK To a very high standard. This particular wheelbarrow has a metal wheel with pneumatic tyre making it perfect for heavy duty work, also the wheels are replaceable and we also sell spare inner tubes for wheelbarrow repairs. Whilst the wide wheel base does mean this wheelbarrow may struggle in narrower passages (it is 70 cm wide in total), the pneumatic tyres are robust and able to cope with the majority of garden terrain. My wheelbarrow arrived promptly. It is well made, very sturdy and durable. In addition it is also stable in use.. This is a good investment which I am sure will last for years.

Galvanised wheelbarrows are the strongest barrows we supply. Each tray is treated with a special coating that ensures the extra robust tray will not rust. Ideally suited to heavy load capacities means building or industrial work are catered for. With their tough, metal construction, choosing a wheelbarrow with a galvanised pan and frame will ensure the product lasts longer than standard barrows.

Bought as a gift for son in law. He needed a strong one which would fit through a narrow path and is pleased with this one. It has not been used yet so no comments on its durability The Builder wheelbarrow is made in our Birmingham factory and we are very proud of it being manufactured in the UK. It has a extra strong double rolled edge pan which means it is an extremely sturdy barrow However, plastic wheelbarrows can still be very strong and durable provided they have a strong steel frame for support. They also won’t rust, dent or distort like some metal models. Pneumatic wheels makes it easier to move loads over uneven surfaces, so these are well-suited to use on difficult ground. However, they can go flat and need to be re-inflated, or puncture. Which is just something to be aware of. Best suited to moving light to mid weight items, the large capacity does mean that this wheelbarrow can get very heavy depending on what you fill it with. However, for general garden maintenance, it’s ones of the best wheelbarrows available.

It’s undeniably a vital piece of garden equipment, but there are a surprising number of different wheelbarrow designs out there to choose from – some well-suited to garden pottering, and others better equipped for commercial use.

Polypro

Whilst made of metal, this still doesn’t substitute for a builder’s wheelbarrow; it’s one of the best wheelbarrows for gardening tasks if you want pneumatic tyres, but it’s not been designed for heavy-duty lifting or building work. Please note that as this product is delivered fully assembled minor marking may occur during delivery. This will not affect the structural integrity of the product. This does not affect your statutory rights. First things first, you need to know what jobs you’ll be doing, can’t buy the best wheelbarrow for the job if you don’t know what job it’ll be doing. For example, you wouldn’t want a flimsy plastic wheelbarrow for removing heavy debris. Unless of course you were prepared to make more frequent trips.
