About this deal

Tennis is as much a mental game as it is physical. Sometimes emotions, fear, and doubt can creep in and send us spiraling. The Luxilon Elite Dry is billed as ideal for humid or for players who want an enhanced grip, and their marketing gives you the impression this is a premium product. Comments: I prefer regular Wilson Pro overgrips. These are great for 1 match and then they start to roll at the edges. It is the most annoying feeling to hold a handle with a bunch of tiny rolls. Also, they are much shorter than regular Wilson Pro overgrips. I would suggest trying both to see which one you prefer. Racquet Abuse: If you drop or throw your racquet, your grip is going to take a beating as well, which means you’re going to need to replace it more frequently. Place the tapered end of the grip along the top edge of your racquet’s handle. You can begin from any side as long as you start at the top edge.

Comments: This grip is narrower than the standard Wilson Pro Over grip. Thus, if you have a long handle racquet like my Aeropro Drive+ with a 4 1/2 handle, you can't even come close to reaching the top of the handle. If using the included tape, apply it to the new tapered edge of the grip to secure it and wrap it all the way around until it overlaps itself. Apply tension to the tape to avoid wrinkles. Overgrips with increased sweat absorption are popular among players who play indoors or in hotter climates. However, keep in mind that you don’t have to use the same overgrip all the time. If you play in a variety of conditions, you may want to have a few different grips in your bag. Reduce Blisters and InjuriesBefore you get started, make sure you have your new overgrip handy as well the included tape to secure the grip after replacing it. Some racquet’s come with a small rubber band-like collar that you can use to secure the grip without needing tape. Well, the answer is I’m a proud leftie, but just in case you don’t believe me, here’s a picture of my right hand.

It won’t last forever though, and if you’re playing very regularly it’s worth putting on a new one every once in a while. The primary reason players use overgrips is to increase traction and prevent the racquet from slipping or twisting in their hands. It can be quite difficult to get the feel of a grip unless you give it a proper workout and I find you can’t really make a proper decision until you’ve played a match with it. Comments: Love it. All I have to say is that there is plenty good reason Federer and several other top pros use this one. Give it a try and see what you think!

Comments: This is a good grip. If you put it on correctly it will last. It does get dirty because it is in white. I sweat a lot and it seems like it still holds. I have an aggressive swing and this grip holds pretty true. I train and play tennis everyday for about 6 hours and I have to change the grip maybe every 4-5 days. Comments: I go to Evert Tennis Academy, and I play for 6 hours a day, and these grips last at least 5 days and still work great. Comments: Teach tennis full time and also play a lot. Best overgrip on the market. Great feel and comfort. Comments: This grip is an excellent choice, I'm a 6.0 level player and I have tried all sorts of grips and they just don't cut it. This pro overgrip is the best!Comments: Be careful if you go for the red ones, they look like the color of an eraser (pinkish) and not red. Otherwise, good grip.
