About this deal

I was expecting action and adventure, considering how the second book ended. The big bad had yet to be defeated, and since he is a god, the final battle should have been epic and long – full of successes and failures. But I felt that it was pretty short and easy when it finally came. Treasures (compilation: "Secret Star" (1998) and "Treasures Lost, Treasures Found" (1986) ), Silhouette Barrie Kreinik has narrated the series and did a splendid job of giving voice to Breen, Keegan and secondary characters from evil villains to Talamh. On her Facebook, Roberts linked to a discussion forum for her latest release! Just note: spoilers will be deleted! Here she answered some burning questions, and gave us the news we were hoping not to hear: Suspicious (compilation: Partners (1985), The Art of Deception (1986), and Night Moves (1985) ), Silhouette

In From the Cold (novella, from Historical Christmas Stories 1990 anthology), The MacGregors (addition to series), Harlequin The MacGregors: Robert ~ Cybil (compilation: The Winning Hand (1998) and The Perfect Neighbor (1999) ), The MacGregors (7 & 9 of 9), Silhouette The Law of Love (compilation: "Lawless" (1989) and "The Law is a Lady" (1984) ), Silhouette (May 2009) The Choice is the epic conclusion to her Dragon Heart trilogy, where parallel worlds clash over the struggle between good and evil. In this, Breen, who grew up in the world of Man unaware of her true nature, is now in Talamh. She’s trying to heal after everything that took place in the previous book. Her grandfather Odram has been defeated for now and she’s recovering. With Keeghan, she’s grown into a strong warrior, as well as a woman in love. As always with Roberts, the chemistry between these two sizzles. The themes in it - prejudice, mistrust, power-hungry people, - are woven so intricately into the plot that the negativity of it all just exemplifies the themes of family, love, and giving your life for what you believe in. Time and Again (compilation: Time Was (1989) and Times Change (1990) ), Time and Again or The Hornblower Bros. (1 & 2 of 2), Silhouette Eighteen-year-old Mallory Greenleaf is no longer interested in chess, not since her hypercompetitive dad left—the game calls up painful memories. But she grudgingly agrees to play in a charity tournament as a favor to best friend Easton Peña. After she unexpectedly beats current world champion Nolan Sawyer, she’s offered a fellowship that will prepare her to play professionally. Even though Mallory doesn’t want to play anymore, she needs the money that winning would provide; she’s delayed college to support her family, since her mother is chronically ill with rheumatoid arthritis and is unable to work regularly. The more time she spends with Nolan, the more Mallory comes to like and respect him—and the more time she spends playing chess, the more she remembers how much she loved it. But when she learns that Nolan has been keeping a big secret from her, she isn’t sure if she’ll be able to move past it to build a relationship with him. Filled with the author’s signature humor, well-developed characters, and realistic conflicts, plus the fully realized setting of competitive chess, this captivating romance will delight teen readers as well as Hazelwood’s adult fans. Mallory and Nolan are both cued white; there is some racial diversity among the supporting cast. Mallory and Easton are queer. The Donovan Legacy (compilation: Captivated, Entranced, and Charmed (all 1992) ), The Donovan Legacy (1-3 of 4), Silhouette This book so perfectly summed up the rest. Marco, the absolute best friend anyone could ever had. Their friendship won out so many things for me. When he asked Breen, "Who knows you like I know you?" there was no other answer but, "Nobody in any world anywhere." I love that the respect on friendship was such a large part of this series.

The MacGregors: Daniel ~ Ian (compilation: For Now, Forever (1997) and In from the Cold (1990) ), The MacGregors (5 of 9 and novella), Silhouette

The Calhouns: Suzanna and Megan (compilation: Suzanna's Surrender (1991) and Megan's Mate (1996)), The Calhoun Women (4 & 5 of 5), Silhouette This whole book really just felt like a race to the finish line, without any pit stops along the way.

Cordina's Royal Family (compilation: Affaire Royale (1986), Command Performance (1987), and The Playboy Prince (1987) ), Cordina's Royal Family (1-3 of 4), Silhouette

Time of Death (compilation: "Eternity in Death" (2007), "Ritual in Death" (2008), "Missing in Death" (2009)), In Death, Berkley Trade (June 2011) The Stanislaski Brothers: Mikhail and Alex (compilation: Luring a Lady (1991) and Convincing Alex (1994) ), The Stanislaskis or Those Wild Ukrainians (2 & 4 of 6), Silhouette The Stanislaski Sisters: Natasha and Rachel (compilation: Taming Natasha (1990) and Falling for Rachel (1993) ), The Stanislaskis or Those Wild Ukrainians (1 & 3 of 6), Silhouette Dream Makers (compilation: Untamed (1983) and Less of a Stranger (1984) ), Silhouette Special Releases The MacGregors: Serena ~ Caine (compilation: Playing the Odds (1985) and Tempting Fate (1985) ), The MacGregors (1 & 2 of 9), Silhouette
