About this deal

Blair Athol (pronounced: blair ATH-ol) is a quiet yet beautiful distillery that has modestly been producing a robust highland distillate for a lot longer than most currently operation distilleries. Founded in 1798 it has always been one of the more ˜under the radar distilleries but anyone who has had the privilege of visiting it is usually bowled over by its old-style Scottish architectural beauty, not to mention the muscular elegance of its spirit. If you want to buy a bottle of Blair Athol here you have a selection to discover the taste of an excellent whisky.

Founded in 1798, Blair Atholl Distillery is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland and situated only two minutes from Atholl Palace Hotel. Situated in the very heart of Scotland and the place that Bell’s calls home. The Nutty, rich signature malt is distilled at this distillery then added to the blend. Full of almonds, ginger cake and spices it gives Bell’s that unique, sumptuous, richness. Venture on a guided tour of Blair Atholl Distillery which generally last around 5-6 hours allowing you plenty time for a full tour of the distillery and a delicious dram of Blair Athol Single Malt Whisky. Edradour Distillery Another claim to fame for the Blair Athol Single Malt Whisky. It is one of the whiskies, that goes in to the ever popular Bell's Blend. It is the most popular blended whisky in the UK. The whisky is a blend of several fine grain and malts from Speyside and the Islands which is created into Bells Blended Scotch Whisky by master blenders here at Blair Athol Distillery Pitlochry. Whiskybase B.V. is the Dutch private limited liability company, having its statutory seat in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and its office at Zwaanshals 530, 3035 KS Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Whiskybase B.V. is registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under no. 52072819. By the 1970s, Bell’s was being built into the UK’s top-selling blended Scotch and, as a result, Blair Athol was doubled in capacity. Guinness (which bought Bell’s in 1985, and after further mergers evolved into Diageo) opened a visitor’s centre in 1987. A total of 24 bottles are now going on sale individually via Perth-based business Whisky Auctioneer.
