Blair Athol (pronounced: blair ATH-ol) is a quiet yet beautiful distillery that has modestly been producing a robust highland distillate for a lot longer than most currently operation distilleries. Founded in 1798 it has always been one of the more ˜under the radar distilleries but anyone who has had the privilege of visiting it is usually bowled over by its old-style Scottish architectural beauty, not to mention the muscular elegance of its spirit. Founded in 1798, Blair Atholl Distillery is one of the oldest working distilleries in Scotland and situated only two minutes from Atholl Palace Hotel. Situated in the very heart of Scotland and the place that Bell’s calls home. The Nutty, rich signature malt is distilled at this distillery then added to the blend. Full of almonds, ginger cake and spices it gives Bell’s that unique, sumptuous, richness.
