About this deal

Comments:The only good aspect of this line is the knot strength. Manageability, memory, knotting up, etc is all TERRIBLE.. even straight off the roll.. 0/10 would NEVER buy another seaguar product.. even with line conditioner this is the WORST flourocarbon I have ever used in my 15 years of fishing.

Comments: Been using red label for several years and I really like it. I flip exclusively 20 pound test and never have any issue. I throw 15 and 12 as well. For the price, you can't beat it. It never lets me down. Comments:This line is great, I don't see why anyone would use any other Fluro. I switched from the expensive Sunline Sniper to red label and notice 0 difference for a fraction of the price. Comments:This is a very good line. I use it for fly-fishing and its as good as or in some cases better than many of the expensive ones out there.Comments: I use this as leader material for my braid in both fresh and saltwater, from 10-20lb. For that purpose, it is solid all-around. If you're looking for a quality leader material, I'd recommend Red Label.

Comments:except for a couple errors on my part, this line has yet to fail me in the three years I've been using it. I've used different brands and more expensive fluorocarbons and I personally just cant justify spending top dollar when I get great and consistent performance from red label. Comments:Can't believe so many people like this line. I bought this line expecting the performance of the rest of the seaguar line up & this line certainly didn't give the results I was expecting.I got 12 lb test & constantly lost and had to retie lures. Invisx is definatly worth the extra money Comments:This has been my favorite fluro yet. Never had a break off and its very manageable for a Fluorocarbon line. The only negative thing i could say is i think it has just as much stretch as mono. Comments:I have been using the 12lb test on a Tatula for bass and striper in Central Cali all season and love it. Often when I get caught on a small log or rooted bush, I end up pulling the entire thing out of the water with literally no damage to the line itself. This is within reason of course. Pretty amazing for 12lb test, plus its cheap. As for people getting break offs, I have found that making a few short casts to "loosen" everything up and to get rid of any memory before launching my baits really helps to reduce potential birds nests. With that said, I fish free spool and have been extremely satisfied with its overall performance. Definitely recommended.

Customer Reviews

Comments:I first used Red Label a couple years ago when I had no idea or had any knowledge of different applications for different lines. I cant remember having a problem with it then. I spooled up in April with this stuff and used it once on a combo and havent touched the combo since.Took it out today and this line performed flawlessly. Over 6 months hold and this line was casting a 1/4 oz. Trap a country mile on my Lews LFS. I will be buying Red Label again! Comments: The more I use this line the less I want to buy anything else. The 15lb is great! the 12lb is great! the 20lb. great! This stuff is just too smooth & strong to ignore. it is super strong & reliable & I must say this line has 100% of my confidence. This is a very good line. The sensitive is out standing. Comments: Tip for this line, only use it as leader line, never spool a reel with this stuff unless it's a larger spool or smaller pound test. The abrasion resistance, and knot strength is amazing, but the memory is just not good on reel spools. Comments: Great knot strength, and easily manageable on casts. I mostly use this line as leader material, but sometimes spool 8,12 and 15lb straight. I have great results using all different sizes between 6 and 20lb test as leaders. Not sure what these people who consistently break off casting lures are doing, but it's never happened to me using Red Label for 8 years. It's hard to diagnose user error from reading a review, but when someone continually does the same thing over and over you have to wonder. For me it's a great performing line and available at a reasonable price. Comments: If you're in the business of boat flipping meat nuggets, but you're balling on a budget; this is the stuff for you. Casts like butter baby. Just buy it.

Comments:i use the red label in 17lb on my swimbait rod and it holds up very well, chunking 3-5oz hudds, rago skt swimmers and savage line thru and hav. Caught 7 fish over 12 lbs last year biggest being 13.60 and i horsed them in, great product and has never failed me will be using this line for years to come. Comments:On the advise of a fried I tried the 15 lb and 12 lb test. I found it hard and difficult to cast. Extremely stiff and felt heavy when casting. I can't speak for strength and durability, I didn't get that far. Comments: This is my go to Flouro for Jig fishing and basically every other application. Mainly run 15lb. i actually get bulk spools of 15 cause its on so many reels. Casts great. Knot strength is great. Rarely ever have i run into any issues. I have gotten a few smaller spools that seemed rough but still had their strength. You can tow in any fish and even oak trees. Not well versed in the lighter stuff and have heard it doesn't have the best strength but highly recommend for running 12lb and up. Comments: Just like me, you are someone looking to get the most out of a FC line but without a hefty price tag. Well I'll just say this. When I first got into casting reels, I was looking for a strong but buyer friendly FC line and I started out with Trilen and it became to crazy with the memory. So I stumbled upon this red label at my local retailer years ago and I can confidently say this is by far my favorite budget friendly FC line to date. And honestly haven't used any other FC line on the market because of this red label. I use anywhere from 12, 15, and 20# for all my needs. I have yet to break off once, we'll only if I get snagged up and have to hulk strength the line out and even then sometimes I have to cut the line because it just won't break. Comments:Been using this line for about 6 years now. No problems at all. A great line for the weekend angler.Comments:Without question this is the best low dollar flourocarbon on the market. Seaguar is the only company in the world that manufacturers their own resin for their lines so they are able to make a better quality line at a lower price than any of their competitors.
