LEGO released an impressive 25 different Millennium Falcon sets, small and large, between 2000 and 2022. LEGO released the very first set in 2000, during the second year of LEGO’s partnership with the Star Wars franchise. A very simple design, this mostly light bluish gray mini-build was exclusively at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim 2015. The micro scale Falcon attaches a white display stand co-branded with logos for LEGO, Star Wars, and Star Wars Celebration Anahiem 2015. The design is extremely similar to the “Millenium Falcon 55555” Target exclusive from 2017. Overall
Micro-sized Falcon 55555 features a mostly light bluish gray color scheme with an inverted radar dish serving at the simplified top of the ship. The most sought after part in the set is the attractive display stand assembly emblazoned with the LEGO logo and Star Wars logo. Han Solo minifigures appear throughout the LEGO Star Wars range and this version takes inspiration from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. Exactly the same minifigure has made three previous appearances, including with two particularly expensive sets, so his presence here is welcome. An exclusive double-sided head would have been brilliant though. This set boasts two claims to fame: as one of smallest, simplest Falcons with a low piece count of 20 and as the only Falcon set with a typo in its name. The polybag incorrectly spells the name of the ship “Millenium Falcon” instead of “Millennium Falcon”.
