About this deal

As far as the usage or occasion is concerned, this is a very good office fragrance but it could be worn casually as well. Nevertheless, I would regard it as something that you could wear with a suit and tie when you’re going to work. I prefer it for late spring, summer and early fall... And I have to say that I like this one more than "L'Eau Majeure d'Issey", although the OG may be fresher for hotter days. With regards to men, nobody was overly enamoured by it. Nevertheless, men above their thirties as well seemed to enjoy this fragrance overall. The olfactory impression of metal and technology is reflected in the lid. Whereby by expanding the theme in blue color. A most matte, brushed metal. In the predecessor L'Eau Majeure d'Issey, the silver lid also gives the impression of metal, while here it got its bluish shimmer from heating. This flanker is also a bit sweeter, just as heated metal can also smell a brief moment.

Overall, l’Eau Super Majeure d’Issey seems to perform reasonably well. While it’s longevity only persists for a few hours, it offers decent sillage and projection during that time.

As it settles, the perfume reveals a woody and synthetic character that is, unfortunately, not entirely harmonious. This may perhaps be due to the unexpected sweetness that pops up midway, tending to clash with the fresh and woody aspects. This clash, however, doesn't entirely detract from the perfume's appeal, particularly for those who appreciate a scent that pushes boundaries. Cashmeran is an intriguing synthetic compound that is meant to smell like a combination of amber and wool. Specifically, it’s meant to smell like cashmere, which explains the name. Overall, it’s a very comforting note with a warm character that’s quite relaxing. We also have a touch of sandalwood. Overall, you will experience an intriguing bouquet of muskiness, which is accompanied by this ambery, wool, cashmere accord which is quite alluring. That being said, although this sounds very warm, it’s a surprisingly refreshing fragrance. L’Eau Super Majeure d’Issey’s Life-Cycle, Wake & Strength

Somebody said that it was clean aquatic and very herbaceous and they quite liked it. Meanwhile, somebody said, that they feel like they’ve smelt it before, but they enjoyed wearing it anyway. L’Eau Super Majeure opens up with a classic aromatic and citrus accord. It starts with rosemary, which dissipates is replaced by clary sage, following lime and some very fresh basil. Heart Notes

In the following section, we’ll evaluate and analyse L’Eau Super Majeure d’Issey’s individual notes and accords. Head Notes A playful citrusy sweetness, but without the Italoesque cestiness. A bit more natural in the sense of herbaceous. Which is probably due to sage and rosemary. Spring flowers merely as a reminiscence by the vanilla rounded.

As the fragrance transitions into the heart, the scent becomes more pronounced and robust with the introduction of cashmeran, a synthetic note that imparts a musky, woody and slightly sweet smell. Complementing it are the warm, resinous tones of amberwood and the earthy, slightly sweet aroma of patchouli. These middle notes give the fragrance a distinct spicy, woody characteristic with a synthetic undertone. I love the bottle despite its ridiculously sized cap, which is actually almost the same size as the bottle itself! Nevertheless, I think it’s very stylish. It fits nicely in the hand. The bottle we reviewed was 50 ml in size. However, the larger 100 ml has a significantly smaller cap so it doesn’t become ridiculous! The atomizer performs very well and it produces a clear, light mist that gently lands on the skin. It sprays a little bit too large to my taste. I prefer it when it’s a tiny little bit more focused. Nevertheless, this atomizer does perform well. L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey by Issey Miyake is a perfume that attempts to capture the essence of a salty ocean breeze with a hint of masculine warmth. Released in 2018, it's a scent that leans towards the mature man, seeking to convey a sense of seasoned confidence.

L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey by Issey Miyake starts off with a crisp and invigorating scent, leaning on notes of clary sage and rosemary. The sage lends a clean and herbal aroma, while the rosemary adds a slightly warm, pine-like and minty touch. This combination creates a refreshing aquatic aroma. Generally speaking, this fragrance would tend to be more popular among women in their thirties or above. Women below their 30 thought it was okay, but nothing special. Here, too, the water and especially the sea is a major theme. However, the L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey conveys in contrast to its predecessor, for my sensation, the approaching early morning. The sun's rays are warming. It is no longer so cold. The plants of the sand dunes smell stronger here than the mudflats or the washed up smorgasbord of algae, driftwood and secretions from the digestive tract of marine mammals. Meanwhile, this is definitely a daytime fragrance. That being said, I think it would be quite pleasant worn in the early evening as the sun goes down, in the height of summer. After all, this is primarily a summer fragrance that could potentially be worn in late spring and early autumn.

Nevertheless, this gem also seems to fall prey to great displeasure. Where I have my thoughts on this in my review of L'Eau Majeure d'Issey already written and use this review only to name the differences and similarities. Here, too, the futuristic technical theme is maintained in the proven synthetic aesthetics of a laboratory fragrance. Chemistry is in the air and this can have a pleasant atmosphere of an antique pharmacy. Thus, the Flanker is also true to its sci-fi cyberpunk genre with naturalistic and ancient elements in the spirit of Issey Miyake and the Japanese philosophy of duality. This scent for the new century is already making a statement. Issey Miyake L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey Intense No Front, since I am well aware that I am reviewing a designer fragrance here which, according to the fragrance pyramid, obviously has synthetic ingridenzien. For the L'Eau Majeure d'Issey and the L'Eau Super Majeure d'Issey, however, I see the synthetic as not decisive, but rather its general aroma, as a stylistic device, which may well appear to one or the other nose bulky and unwearable. Just as the good old Talisker may share the same fate, whereby the purely natural Ingridenzien in itself. Its creator had no technological futurism as an intention, unlike the L'Eau Majeure d'Issey series. But for all three applies: 'Made by the sea"The perfume opens with a touch of aquatic freshness, likely stemming from its top notes of clary sage and rosemary. These notes, coupled with elements of spice, add a certain energy to the scent that makes it feel refreshing and invigorating but not overpowering. Ocassions & Mood: I find it perfect for office, outdoor activities, chill time ... It's very versatile. I find it to be very deep and alluring. Combined with the sea salt and the overall aquatic profile, as well as an earthy patchouli note, it made for a very tantalizing heart and an intriguing voyage, to say the least. Base Notes
