About this deal

The hero is on hand when the menacing Hot Wheels T-Rex erupts from the volcano with exciting light and sound effects and the island comes to life. Now it's up to you to defeat the dinosaur and escape the lava flow! Note: As the die aged the rear step became filled-in creating a smooth rear step variation in letter c and d. Specialty: With a side-mounted exhaust, sunroof, and V8 engine, this hot rod rescue makes the fastest first response!

White Oogie Boogie on sides. Orange & Red Dice, with Light Blue graphics with Heart, Club, Diamond, Spade, & face on sides Series/bag numbers #1 through #8 and the Under 3 Toy are intentionally omitted from this table because they were Barbie dolls and a steering wheel. Hot Wheels has since re-obtained the rights to the name "Super Van", using it interchangeably with "'70s Van" in naming. The Rescue Ranger was first seen in 1985 released in the Real Rider series. For vehicles with same cast and different names see; Ranger Rig (1975), and Emergency Squad (1975).

Definitions -- This is a list of basic terms we use a lot on this wiki - add some more if there's any missing! Rapid Response is a depiction of a futuristic high-speed emergency ambulance. This casting was given a major retooling in 2022, with the rear of the ambulance receiving bracing which wraps around to the vehicle, as well as new headlight inserts. This casting has also been referred to as the Jones Soda Van, Super Van or 70s Van (sans apostrophe).Just like the cars from the previous year, these cars all featured built-in LED lighting, implemented in different ways and in various colors. They can be turned on and off via a simple slide switch on the chassis of the car. Unfortunately due to the age of these cars and the conditons they can endure, the batteries often are dead. Flying Customs graphics, Hot Wheels logo, light red & light yellow flames on sides; red stripe wraps around onto rear; "30YEARS" on rear California license plate; painted headlights & front turn signals Led Zeppelin II" on sides with album graphics on sides & rear. "The Brown Bomber" on rear with blue California "LOTALUV" rear license There were 16 toys in this line, however series/bag numbers #4, #8, #12, and #16 are intentionally omitted from this table because they were a keychain clip toy launcher, a Hot Wheels keychain, a Hot Wheels stopwatch and binoculars. Specialty: With crash-rail fenders, light bar, and Hot Wheels® upgrades, this rescue rod was made to speed onto the scene and save the day.

The Rescue Ranger has also been known as Emergency Squad, Ranger Rig and HW Rapid Responder (not to be confused with Rapid Response) for new name, and has come out in the following 1/64 scale versions: Red stripe on sides, Ghostbusters logo on sides & rear, convention logo on hood, glow in the dark equipment, "ECTO-1" on front & rear license plates
