The plot? Who is she? We dont know her. Completely ludicrous at some points and non existent in others. So I knew this book wasn't Gonna be the best, but I read it anyway because I just needed something to fill the time, so yeah.

Rosa Lee is a new author to me and this is her debut novel. Captured begins with our female main character Lilly Darling who transfers to Highgate Prep after the tragic death of her mother. Along with having to cope with her mothers death she also has a mysterious new uncle she has never met before AND moving to another country! The guys are going crazy not knowing where she is, and they blame themselves for everything, Loki is the worst of them all as he was the one that was with her the last time she was seen before going to the bathroom... We have our lethal man Jax, with a lethal monster appendage 🙈 and muscles to match. Our resident hot head with LITERAL touch her and die vibes and last but not least sweet and quiet Kai, with so trauma behind his eyes but is a complete Dom in the bedroom and don’t get me started on his 🍆 piercings 👀 or any of the others 🍆 piercings🫣then she steps out of the bathroom obviously in a towel only to meet the 4 hottest guys ever and find out she lives with them. then the guy who she calls lucifer tells her she can't have the room that is empty for whatever reason and girly decides that she's just gonna sleep in the room of the guy who just dried her of bcs sleeping on the sofa is no option at all. Jax made my heart ache at the end of the book with his deeply protective nature, he doesn't show emotion easily but with Lilly it's different. Finally is Loki and he lives up to his name being the player of the group he is the one Lilly is drawn to first. But she has to be careful as the boys have dark secrets and a hidden dark past. Can she accept it and help them to overcome their demons? You were my light when there was only darkness, Sweetheart. You showed me that there was something to hope for, that I could be loved. You are my soul, my heart, and my light." (Kai) Lily is going through a lot in this book as she realizes that her mother`s best friend, Lexi, did not just abandon her because she did try to reach out to her but couldn`t in all the ways she tried. And the same thing goes for her mother`s boyfriend, who is kind of a father to Lily. They realized that her "uncle" was keeping her from them, and they knew the reason behind it.

However, I still cringe thinking about some of the weird insults she comes up with, which I’m guessing are supposed to sound more British seen as though she’s from London however, I’ve never heard anyone in the UK lower themselves to use these phrases. I’m not sure if the author is British, but if not then she definitely went over board when trying to make the main girl sound less American.Y'all seeing this more theme here right?! We also get more steam, more action, more mystery and more surprises. I know this review is actually kinda vauge (and has the word more in it an awful lot!) but I honestly don't want to spoil it.
