In the opening, there is a rather strong note of jasmine, which gradually fades and after an hour is almost gone. Afterwards, and for long long hours, there is a lovely warm sweetness of ambergris and amber wood, which are the main accords that are very similar to frankincense (olibanum) and myrrh - very strong smelling intense sweet notes. (A really sweet scent, but not the kind of sweetness that makes your teeth hurt.) At this point, the scent becomes very cozy, creamy and pleasant for me. Royal Bleu smells very luxurious and high quality to the point of niche I would say, and it smells like it will be popular. Easy to wear, easy to get into, like an entry level niche fragrance. It's an elegant and charming perfume that I can see as a great signature scent, because in my opinion it suits any season. Gentlemen, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
