Terry shows the man-fish how to glue shells to boxes and as they work together, they start to grow closer to one another.

There was also a guy in Canvey Island who was watching our shoot on the beachfront and kept telling passers-by that we were “filming a porno”. That was fun… The police took one look at Matty Noble who plays the manfish and left! What is your favourite scene in ManFish? It’s a shame that this one disappoints as much as it does. Admittedly, with a title like ManFish, you should hardly expect high art! But it could have weaved some interesting points about love and bigotry within its story of a man and his sexual relationship with a fish creature. And it could have aimed for a few laughs too, with scenes of the fish man trying to adapt to life on dry land. We don’t think a sequel will happen though. You see Manfish embodies the spirit of the low-budget, independent, more ideas than money, style of filmmaking that Troma is synonymous with. Though ion this was made by Americans I doubt the finished product would be quite as sweet-natured as Marc Coleman’s film; because Manfish is INCREDIBLY sweet-natured. I think my favourite scene is the first time the manfish sits at the table with Tracy and Terry. It was an absolute blast to film and that scene really sums up the film for me.
