The Lodge Griddle & Grill serves a variety of mouth-watering dishes with sizzlers, steaks, ribs and grills with a few pub favourites thrown in the mix.

Established in 2007, with a relaunch in 2017 to capture todays more casual and relaxed dining style – a modern eating experience. Our menu features classic English pub dishes alongside some great sharing plates & combos. Having qualified from Norwich City College with a BTEC National Diploma in Hotel, Catering and institutional operation in 1992 I moved to West Sussex. Here at The Lodge Griddle & Grill restaurant, we specialise in quality food homemade from locally sourced ingredients. The Presto Ceramic 22" is an oversized, heavy-duty electric model that is easy to operate and clean. We love that the handles are easy to remove without using tools, a feature that helps save space on the countertop and when stored. The unit has even heat distribution for consistent cooking, and the temperature control covers a wide range (160 - 400 ºF) for everything from slow-cooking sunny-side-up eggs to searing steaks.Lodge uses highly refined soybean oil to season their traditional cast iron. The oil contains no animal fat, peanut oil or synthetic chemicals.

We also used the stovetop models in non-traditional ways, like baking in an oven or cooking over a campfire. Ease of Cleaning (10% weighting)Soap isn’t always necessary, but if you like, a little mild detergent is fine. However, stay away from dishwashers and metal scouring pads, which can harm the seasoning you are working so hard to build up. Next, rub in a very light layer of cooking oil all over both sides of the pan, preferably while the cookware is still warm. Hang or store your pan in a dry place.
