To find out, we took a summer and winter tyre and rated them against two popular all-season designs. We put them through their paces alongside our full-size winter and all-season tests, first on snow at the Pirelli Sottozero proving ground near Flurheden in Sweden, before we rated handling in the wet and dry with Continental at the Pferdsfeld TRIWO facility in Germany.
