These aren’t made with the precision of a chef’s six-burner gas range; they’re just trying to get you through and cook your food for you. In the end either wood stove is great as you are not carrying fuel w you. Just find it on the forest floor. Note, I also if wet out bring a few wood stove pellets or other just to start a fire up before using the semi wet stuff. But if it’s not a totally rain soaked forest floor anything should burn easily in this stove. Both are great if you can provide the fuel source. The one pro that wood-burning stoves have is that there’s nature just about everywhere you go, and where there’s not nature, there’s newspaper, paper-based trash, and other items that you can burn in one of these stoves.

When it’s raining, you may be tempted to use the wood-burning stove in a covered area like a tent to cook your meal. This is very dangerous and should never be attempted. Tents are highly flammable and using a wood-burning stove inside a tent is a fire hazard.
It comes with a decent weight of 1.9 lbs, putting it right in the middle of everything we’ve looked at so far, but some surprising features that put it a cut above the other dozen-or-so items I considered for this list. As a result, wind barriers and burners aren’t made to be used in enclosed spaces. You could end up inhaling fumes or accidentally turning the burner up too high and causing something to catch on fire.Overall though, I really like this stove and think this should be in anyone’s outdoor kit. It’s inexpensive, lightweight, and works like a charm. If you don’t have a good reason to own an Ohuhu camp stove might I suggest you find one? Summer is upon us. Get outside! Go camping! I still could not get it to boil the water. Sure, it got hot. Little bubbles formed on the side. But no boiling. Airflow Control: Many models include adjustable vents or dampers, allowing you to regulate airflow to control the intensity of the fire and cooking temperature.
In terms of size, the stove is 10 inches wide, 18 inches long, and 26 inches tall (with its legs on). Weighing 24 lbs, it’s heavier than most cook tent stoves, but its design makes it nonetheless small and portable. When not in use, all of its parts conveniently fit inside the stove. Finally the Solo Stove has an easy loading port cutaway for loading wood. This is nice. Ohuhu you just have to life your pot to put more wood in. But then again if you load this stove right you should not have to load more fuel while cooking. With the stove stowed inside the pot, there is still some empty space. I use this space to store some Esbit fuel tabs and matches. Even though I don’t use the Esbit fuel much, it is nice to have some fuel immediately handy.
