There's so much complete and utter chaos in this book, and the characters are creating a huge mess, but it's also all so heartfelt.

It did a fab job with the chemistry between Kit and Haf, and made their insta-love feel at least half believable to me. Other than that - which is awesome obviously - it was full of the usual lovely tropes of this type of story and was enjoyably predictable.I’d probably play Instagram Boyfriend and make sure they had a banging set of photos of them having fun all over social media.

This book hits a few tropes - fake relationship, rich girl/poor girl - as well as starring a plus-sized heroine alongside a disabled love interest. I absolutely see why Narfna/Ashley was so enthusiastic about this book, and the many quotes she included in her own review of the book are so much funnier in context. On top of that, I was really conscious that this was a Christmas book with a fat girl on the cover and so I wanted to kind of reach through the page to my fat readers to say hey, I get it, I’ve been there, I’m still here.
