About this deal

The book aims to completely upend the conventional misinterpretation of the term Karma, and succeeds brilliantly by providing utmost clarity about what it really is! The book is easy to read and understand -even the complex concept of karma and the chapters are also interspersed with little anecdotes of shankaran pillai as a quaintessential hero invented by the sadguru for humor. The book is divided into three segments Firstly, it reveals the fallacy in our understanding of Karma and offers an authentic meaning.

The real question is how much of it has been conducted consciously, and how much is purely accidental? Even when one is not doing anything in particular, one’s body, mind, emotions and energy are all in action. As the karmic volume increases in volume, the discerning mind becomes almost useless, because you now work largely by habits, patterns and cycles. What I most admire and resonate with Sadhguru is how he treats karma as a matter of taking responsibility. I would consider this as a go to book for understanding karma and breaking lots of myths about people beliefs.Web icon An illustration of a computer application window Wayback Machine Texts icon An illustration of an open book. However, I can't help but feel as if I am being lectured to for 300 pages, with superficial examples and twisted "scientific evidence". Depending on the nature of the work, I adjust the tone of my vasana… this is the way every spiritual master operates.

He has also been invited to speak at leading educational institutions, including Oxford, London Business School, IMD, Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Wharton and MIT. Sadhguru has also initiated several projects for social revitalization, education and the environment through which millions of people have been given the means to overcome poverty, improve their quality of life and achieve community-based, sustainable development. Fascinating read, a must for the those seeking self improvement, greater happiness or even enlightenment. This very enlightening book explains that karma is neither good nor bad and has nothing to do with punishment or reward. But I was not able to find anything new on the subject although I read a lot of books and attended several lectures through the years.Since then I've learned several other practices offered by him through the Isha Foundation, and I am truly truly grateful for how profoundly they've changed my life. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is a yogi, a mystic and the founder of Isha, an all-volunteer organisation engaged in large-scale humanitarian and environmental projects. Sadhguru totally shatters the myth that karma is destiny and so many other myths that have gathered around this word. Karma is a thoughtful and life-affirming reminder of our vast capacity to effect positive change in our own life and in the lives of others.

The clarity, simplicity, and profoundness with which Sadhguru unravels the mechanism of Karma is phenomenal. Accumulation of karma is determined only by your intention and the way you respond to what is happening to you. A must read for any seeker or anyone who has ever asked the question "why me", I'm so glad he has written this book in such plain English for people like me.Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. lesson packaged in an elborate jargon-filled bag targeted clearly towards his prime addressable market - insecure, money-rich, time-poor American Indian techies who grab on to anything to feel rescued.
