About this deal
She’s a real bunny boiler hell bent on not just splitting up Vince and Penny but taking half his fortune. Written by John Sullivan ( Only Fools And Horses, Citizen Smith), this is a classic story of love, lost and found, where the question on everyone's lips is will Vince and Penny remain 'just good friends'?
The set-up is simple: charming Jack-the-lad turf accountant wanders back into the life of advertising secretary Penny Warrender, having jilted her at the altar five years previously. Insisting that they would remain ‘just good friends’ but with emotions resurfacing a classic love-hate, on-off relationship is (once again) established. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

Five years, and a chance meeting later, Penny’s feelings are rekindled, feelings that she thought were gone forever. Taking some time off from detailing the adventures of Del and Rodney, John Sullivan instead turned his attentions to Vince (Paul Nicholas) and Penny (Jan Francis) for Just Good Friends (Eureka TV), the BBC One romantic comedy which pitched viewers into the lives of a once-engaged couple whose relationship had ended when bridegroom Vince failed to turn up to his wedding. Series 1 episodes are: 'After All This Time', 'Hello Again', 'Let's Spend the Night Together', 'Fatherly Advice', 'I Don't Want to See You Again', 'Happy Birthday, Penny' and 'Moving in.We previously used to have some sections where we listed box sets by the year they were released, which you can still look through: 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016. Exacerbating Vince and Penny’s predicament are both sets of parents, Vince’s, Les and Rita, are all leopard print and Brylcreem, whilst Penny’s, Daphne and Norman, are quite the opposite, wine tasting and twin set types. While the show seemed to reach a natural end with Penny leaving the country in series two, audiences demanded a happier ending and it was brought back for another series and a very odd Christmas special.
