About this deal

QUALITY THROUGHOUT: The high-quality details include but not limited to smooth and reliable YKK dual zippers, mesh interior pockets, incredibly durable rip-stop fabric materials, full-coverage rainfly and firm lightweight structure, to stand up to your biggest adventures. On the surface of it, the Naturehike Cloud UP present some very impressive specifications in terms of weight, packed size, material used and above all else cost. Just make sure you’ve got the right tentpoles at the right end of the tent, and it all snaps together quickly. The vestibule zips up close to the top of the inner door and there is very little overhang, which means in inclement weather if you unzip the outer door you risk getting water inside. Hang it outside or pile it loosely in your house for a few days, turning it inside and out to assure it has dried everywhere.

I never had condensation issues even with my old version of the Cloud Up 2, so this feature probably only matters if you are winter camping. A pleasant camping trip extremely depends on a warm and comfortable shelter, especially in hot summer days! Thanks to the innovative design to attach the inner tent sheet, the ceiling of the tent inside looks more wide than you would assume from seeing it outside. Construction - The construction could be better with a cross bar to strengthen its structure, but the lack of it only makes the living space too small. Weather Conditions:High humidity, low temperatures, and rainy conditions create the most condensation. I seriously considered a few different options before pulling the trigger here, and almost ended up with a small backpacking setup from The North Face. Storage size is about 16×5 in, and the tent weighs between 3 and 4 lb, depending how many of the accessories (groundsheet, pegs, etc.

Waterproof】The outer tent is made of 10D nylon silicone material, plus a waterproof coating, and multiple waterproof glues are used in the corners to increase wear resistance, reduce the risk of water leakage, and meet the needs of rain and moisture protection when camping. In terms of weather resistance, this will add a little more insulation and will also help protect the floor of the tent from rips and tears, which in turn will help keep out leaks. Front vestibule: It makes the inner space larger, and personal hiking gear can also be placed in the front door area. One thing that I really don’t like about the Naturehike Cloud Up is that the back is narrower than the front. None of these points are a deal breaker in our opinion, and as mentioned previously they are certainly all design decisions that help keep the weight of the tent down, but none the less the tent does not feel as well thought out as some of the other (admittedly more expensive) alternatives. Although we use the best polyurethane waterproofing available, prolonged exposure to moisture causes hydrolysis which, in turn, causes the waterproof layer to break down, becoming soft, sticky and no longer waterproof. There is more to life than saving short-term bucks; we want to support companies that innovate and improve their products and stand behind them.

Front vestibules: It makes the inner space larger, and personal hiking gear can also be placed in the front door area. Inside of the tent, there is a wonderful small bag which can make your trip more fun, just put your books or magazines in the bag. Though the pole feature is a plus for quick setup, the tiny pocket and vestibule are way smaller than average and doesn’t give a relaxing space. The Naturehike Cloud Up 2 has a decent-sized vestibule which easily fits my 55L pack plus two pairs of boots.LIGHTWEIGHT: The Naturehike cloud up tent still maintains the ultralight weight that minimalist backpackers look for. when you include the groundsheet it comes with which is definitely not ultralight but it was acceptable for me. Stability: If pitched correctly (fin into wind) and taut I have found my version to be very stable, including some howling gale-force winds. The new (current) is about 150 grams heavier, has more pole structure at the rear, a ventilation flap, and mid-fin side guys. How many luggage manufacturers, helmet manufacturers, jacket manufacturers are all gaining inspiration from each other?

I have been camping for decades, prior to this purchase my tents were large family car-camping/glamping, and cheap festival dome tents. naturehike tent in the production of general requirements: 210T, 15D waterproof performance is roughly 2000-3000mm; 20D waterproof performance is roughly 3000-4000mm, slightly better and 210T material. Nylon is used extensively by tents – including many that are substantially more costly than the Cloud UP – and it’s a well-proven material that will offer a good degree of weather resistance. Our updated Cloud-up 2 Tent professionally designed for everyone to enjoy backpacking, car camping and all other outdoor adventures can provide you all you need, wherever you travel and what environment you will encounter, even can stably survive in villainous weathers. square feet; It is made of high-quality, heavy-duty waterproof material that works reliably in extreme weather conditions. Considering we woke up the next day with the Atlantic Motorsport Park infield blanketed in thick fog, it was no surprise the inside of the tent had some condensation.
