Having been introduced to "Little Einsteins" with this DVD, I have mixed but mostly positive feelings about the series. Though "Little Einsteins" may seem set to obtain its lofty goals, its execution leaves a little to be desired. Examples (not necessarily from this video) include works from Gaughan, Monet, the Seattle Space Needle, the Great Sphynx, Antartica, the Great Wall of China. Big Jet is the show's main antagonist, usually ruining the Einsteins' experiences for his pleasure and stealing things to keep for himself. She has frizzy brown hair and eyes, and is usually seen wearing a pink headband, purple tutu, and red ballet slippers.

Annie loves animals, including dolphins and horses, and is usually the one to befriend the animal characters the team has to help. In the episode "Show and Tell", Big Jet redeems himself by apologizing to the Little Einsteins, promising to not do anything bad again. Children are taught that music has `layers' and that the musical `themes' can be representative of a particular character or action.

The occasional songs are equally simplistic but catchy and famous musical compositions can be heard throughout (Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" features prominently). For instance, one of the missions on this disc matches to the familiar Morning Mood suite from Edvard Grieg's Peer Gynt the song "We lost our baton, yes, we lost our baton / have you seen the bald eagle who took our baton? In weaker stretches, this quality leaves the proceedings feeling like a child's school presentation. I would recommend both Baby and Little Einsteins to parents, they are thoroughly enjoyable and the children are learning through fun. Inside the case, one finds a reservation form for Disney's forthcoming new periodical Wonder time and a coupon booklet which promotes some preschool fare and offers savings on Our Big Huge Adventure and the recently-released Pooh's Grand Adventure.

This is a great DVD for any Little Einsteins fan, it is a feature length film with a main story running through it but this is broken down into smaller missions to make it easy to watch. The series continued to air in reruns afterward, including after Playhouse Disney was rebranded as Disney Junior on February 14, 2011, through March 25, 2019.Personalised advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out. Instead, it's a chance for each of the four main characters to describe their lives in more detail than what is found in the feature while clips from it and other upcoming installments in the series play.
