After a single year of work it was ready and William named it Glenfiddich, Gaelic for Valley of the Deer. This unique bottling is aged in bourbon, sherry and virgin oak casks, before being brought together in a Solera vat - a large wooden vat that hasn’t been more than half emptied since 1998. To each their own but the 12 is far better in my opinion, and very easy to drink, if not a bit boring.
