After using Quiet Please for 10 years of uninterrupted sleep I’ve barely slept for 2 weeks with the new product ( live by a large body of very wavy water! Their porosity minimized the pressure against the ear canals (while maximizing noise blockage) and made them breathable. Information required by EPA: The level of noise entering a person's ear, when a hearing protector is worn as directed, is closely approximated by the difference between the A-weighted environmental noise level and the NRR. Little stoppers on the end of each plug let you change hearing modes without removing the ear plugs from your ears.USERS: The new ProTechs branded product is no longer made of PVC foam and you may find the new softer UF foam version to be harder to use.
