However -- the scent itself is less commercial/overly chemical fruity floral (what I hate and what I was expecting) and more a simple, lovely sugared fruit.Top notes are Blood Orange, Cardamom and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Litchi, Jasmine and Peony; base notes are Honey, Vanilla and White Wood. The kind my father would spray everyday and it would stink up the place more than anything he could have produced. I blind bought a 30ml mostly because of the bottle, and also the fact that the reviews here on the scent were generally favorable. the heat coming on in waves, a slight, warm, balmy salty breeze wafts past your nose, filled with over blossoming night flowers and a citrus grove that lays about 400 yards away from you. I don't use up perfume a lot and this is one of the few that I almost finished a full bottle (The little bit left behind smell turnt a bit, maybe because bottle became loose after a long time).

The bottle is so cute and I was looking forward to use it often, but alas- this fragrance is not for me. It's citrusy but sweet and floral- I can definitely tell that this perfume isn't for everyone, but it is a perfume for me! Finally, in the base of the fragrance we find inspiration from the deep waters of the ocean that are home to the mystical mermaid with watery lychee paired with vanilla, honey and tonka bean. Hopefully I will get my hands on a bottle soon and can test to see if that’s a better option than the others I’ve listed here. But honestly what really caught my attention were these comments comparing it to the smell of public schools and home depot, as I didn't have anything like that in my collection.

Update: scrubbed his off with hand soap and warm water, put rubbing alcohol on a swab and scrubbed some more, then sprayed a different scent on my arm. For me it is a breezy, not really fresh and quite spicy citrus that dries down to a woody soft floral, kind of like a wood near a cost smells in the evening, slightly damp but by no means unpleasant.
