Since the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master motherboard in our test bench is equipped with 3-pin 5V ARGB headers, we can connect the EK-AIO RGB lighting directly to this. Using three fans to push air into the radiator, while also making use of the three additional fans to extract and exhaust the warm air makes for a push+pull setup, which allows for optimal thermal performance. This is a common strategy and, thus far, we haven’t read anything horribly out-of-line or overmarketed. The orientation can be changed in 90° increments, so if the cooler is installed upside down, rotate it 180 degrees to display the logo right side up.
