About this deal

Their portrayal as a group who seemingly exist solely to ‘be converted’ is a shame, as it undermines some of the nuance of the film’s cultural commentary. Unlike many other Christian movies that fail to release in British cinemas, Jesus Revolution is showing across 157 cinemas in the UK and Ireland. It tracks the true story of the Jesus movement in late 1960s America, from the perspective of curious student Greg Laurie (Joel Courtney) and pastor Chuck Smith (Kelsey Grammar). Roumie captures Frisbee’s relaxed, stoner drawl perfectly, as well as his gentleness, playing the character with a charismatic twinkle in his eye.
