About this deal

Both things I had been living with and struggling with for years (ADHD my whole life) without knowing what was wrong. You can imagine that lady’s amusement – and Rox’s embarrassment – when she showed up at the desk four hours later, having missed the flight again. I couldn’t help giggling at the “hyper-focusing on this book” line as I sat doing oddball tasks intending to do just that. I really like the couple's TikToks and find them really relatable and funny, but for some reason the book just doesn't hold up the same. Also, it seems like coping with ADHD means finding your neurotypical saviour who will take care of you like you're a baby.

Last week The Bookseller reported on how TikTok has contributed to a new wave of publishing" that is more collaborative with creators. There are just some aspects in our relationship that one of us will *always* handle, and you know what it works for us with no overwhelm! Self-publishing Dirty Laundry allowed us to get our message into people’s hands—that you cannot shame yourself into being someone that you like. uniwersalności, mam wrażenie że rady były spisane konkretnie pod tą autorkę, brakowało mi tu strasznie opisu ogólnych objawów ADHD a nie tylko z perspektywy jednej osoby.

The neurodivergent people I know are really connected to themselves and those around them, so when one of them starts crying, I genuinely wonder where I’ve gone wrong.

As a British 21 year old male diagnosed with ADHD age 16, this incredibly written book by Rich and Rox took me on an evening of emotional rollercoasters of relatable laugh out loud moments to just as relatable tears of sadness. She’s writing on the board, going through her notes, doing everything she can to make her audience understand the finer points of supply-and-demand law. It's an easy read, finished in a few hours, and I must admit, I shed a few tears and had a few "oh my god, that's an ADHD thing too? Save your cash and just watch their social media posts; which are free to access and more informative. I get to share the light-hearted moments now, only because I somehow made it through the really dark ones.

Learn how to: • Stop believing you are fundamentally broken • Stop judging yourself by the standards of a neurotypical world • Communicate your struggles to those who love you • Support someone with ADHD in ways that work for them • Be compassionate rather than judgemental . I was thrilled that they narrated themselves for the audiobook, since that’s now the only way I can read, due to my ADHD. After reading through the negative reviews I felt I had to add to my own (original review at the bottom).I got my diagnosis last year - parts of this book had me in tears - they break down common symptoms, how they affect both sides (ND/NT), and give helpful improvement tips, without using negative language. A 48-hour two-book pre-empt and many laughs later and we have a full dream team in place and the book has already landed its first week in the Sunday Times bestsellers chart. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.
