Jeremia had a close relationship with Ruvellis, who viewed her as a maternal figure. His personality is usually misunderstood because of his past. He is a quiet and a bit cold at first, yet kind hearted person. He only believes In true love not arranged marriage. This is the cause of his misunderstood hatred towards Aristia.In 2nd lifetime, Tia's will to escape her engagement to Ruve clashes with Duke Jenna's stories, and that's how Ruve discovers that Duke Jenna cannot be trusted. Which completely changes all of their fates. I know that many people has been disappointed with the novel ending. Many has also been warn people not to read this manhwa. But, I think this is a great manhwa for those who, like me, enjoys a tragic story with a 'bad ending'. Ipersonally think it's not a 'bad ending' per se. I'll explain this further with how i think about the character development. He and Aristia have three children together named Diana (who looks exactly like Aristia) and fraternal twins named Adrian and Elina and they take from both Tia and Ruve. Allen is a Yandere to the core. In western terms, I would go as far as call him a sadist and a psycopath. In his POV we discover how Allen fell in love with Tia because she has PTSD and is nearly mad with terror. He finds her trauma beautiful, and wants her madness and obsession to turn to him instead of her father.

His own mother was Keirean's fiancee before Keirean fell in love with Jeremiah. And she was humiliated and heartbroken when the man she loved asked for the breaking of their engagement to marry a woman far behind her (and his) station. If the manhwa follows the novel Allen will drop from the story quite soon and go far away, while Carsein will take the leading role. He friendzones himself by treating Tia like a little sister, yet there will be a real love triangle between the two of them and Ruve. Jieun - In the first timeline, Jieun was his first wife and Empress of the Castina Empire. Not much is known about the details of their relationship, but he appeared affectionate towards Jieun, favouring her over Aristia. There is the moment in the carriage when in the manhwa Allen kisses Tia's hand. In the novel he kisses her on the lips, while she's sleeping - so unconscious and very much unconsenting. Allendis is one of Aristia's most trusted allies, confidante and her first friend. By befriending him, she learns the happiness friendship brings.

To do that, Keirean swore the binding oath (an oath that requires his death if he breaks it) to the emperor, offering his unllimited support and loyalty to the crown in exchange for a wish. And emperor Mirkan who had been waiting for Keirean's surrender agrees to his wish and breaks his engagement to his sister (Carsein's mum).
