Despite having some huge plot holes, I found the premise to have promise...they just need to decide if it's a dystopian world or a more current world... So a blind date goes well. That's your amazing story? Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary happened here, but it's treated like an incredible love story. I feel like I'm missing something important… In the next five years, Grand Central will publish three new suspense novels by Colleen Hoover and they were scheduled to come out in 2023, 2025, and 2027. Meanwhile, Atria will release two romance novels by the author, which will be published in 2024 and 2026.Man all I can say is that I need to go read the Crew series…I had no idea that Tijan had an MC series!!! Woot..woot..one of my favs!!

Lilley (sports romance) - jaded flight attendant has a one night stand with a football player; he falls in love first and pursues her (very cute) I liked the love story but hated the rest of it. Vaughn didn't deserve Vilma and to treat their children this way because he was grieving is terrible. I don't want to read more about how he moves on with his life without the person who deserved to live much more than he did.FIRST FLIGHT BY JESSICA SORENSEN➯ 3½ Stars. This was a cute little story about overcoming fears...with Angels.

This is the first short story related to another story I'd be interested in reading more. A little bit of mystery with a meet-cute and maybe a bribe? I might look into finding this book and finishing the story… I read R.K. Lilley for the first time earlier this year, but I had forgotten about it. This novella made me want to read more! I loved the whole set up with Leona and Fitz. Can we please get a book for them? I think this one could be my favorite from them. At least till so far. It was sweet, hot and swoony! But as Lowen’s feelings for Jeremy begin to intensify, she recognizes all the ways she could benefit if he were to read his wife’s words. Ridge and Sydney are thrilled to finally be together guilt-free. But as the two of them navigate this freedom, Warren and Bridgette’s relationship is as tumultuous as ever, and Maggie grapples with her illness.the kiss : i thought his playboy pact was stupid but i liked leo. a first in my journey through this anthology. not planning to read their full story tho, coz i just know itd ruin my view of him. a short novella with glimpses of him is perfect There is second guessing when past collides with present and I loved Shyloh and Jake's relationship. It's strong and never-ending even as years pass and it made me so warm inside. I loved it and would love more to their story. Merit Voss collects trophies she hasn’t earned and secrets her family forces her to keep. While browsing the local antiques shop for her next trophy, she finds Sagan. His wit and unapologetic idealism disarm and spark renewed life into her—until she discovers that he’s completely unavailable. Merit retreats deeper into herself, watching her family from the sidelines, when she learns a secret that no trophy in the world can fix. But the bridges Kenna burned are proving impossible to rebuild. Everyone in her daughter’s life is determined to shut Kenna out, no matter how hard she works to prove herself.

The Kiss | M. Robinson (rom-com) - pregnant couple going to birthing class; very funny with a lot of laugh out loud moments SOMETHING WONDERFUL BY L.K. FARLOW➯ 3 Stars. A little juvenile...surfer boy and his long lost best friend who has been pining for him...friends to lovers trope. Well written with a smexy sex scene. Feeling distant from Layla, Leeds soon finds solace in Willow—another guest of the B&B with whom he forms a connection through their shared concerns. As his curiosity for Willow grows, his decision to help her find answers puts him in direct conflict with Layla’s well-being. Leeds soon realizes he has to make a choice because he can’t help both of them. But if he makes the wrong choice, it could be detrimental for allof them. Reminders of Him (2022) Even though this ties into a series, it works as a standalone; you get enough information for everything to make sense while still being aware that a lot is lurking beneath the surface. I enjoyed this story, but nothing particularly made me want to look into the series. Regardless, the story is fast-paced, with interesting characters and magic, with some twists that make it feel more complex.

The narrator is 29 year old Jessica (1st person POV). She is hoping/expecting to get engaged. The other two characters are her boyfriend Chase (a fitness instructor). And her neighbor/co-worker Jay. SOMETHING LIKE KISMET BY GINGER SCOTT➯ 1 STAR. I feel terrible giving something only one star when it was done for charity...but this was just plain awful. These characters were supposed to be seniors in high school and they acted like twelve-year-olds. More the first few chapters of a book rather than a short story, it feels unfinished. A teaser for another book is not really what you expect while reading an anthology, so while this is a good start to another book, it doesn't fit in this collection.
