About this deal

One thing that would make it so much better for me was if it was just slightly smaller when its folded, I need a pram I can fit in my car, when I’ve got all my children so have all my seats up (I have a Zafira) a seven seater with a very narrow boot space when used to full capacity. Otherwise this pram is just perfect. Tested by mum Colette Molyneux for the M&B Awards 2017: One of the biggest factors when considering what pram to choose is how much you want to spend. Double buggies can be expensive, but you don’t have to spend over the odds to get a decent model.

Great for off-roading and trails, fits through any standard doorway, so it’s been fine in shops or on the train. Folds pretty flat. Very comfy to push. Good resale value! We’ve had ours three years and still going strong!" Measuring just 66.5cm wide and weighing in at only 10.5kg, it’s very much geared towards urban life, fitting through most doorways with the ability to be wheeled in and out of your home. I love our double Nipper and used it from newborn with the newborn insert. Be aware that as they are real tyres they can get punctures, so be prepared to have to fix them" - Mumsnet user, PostmanbearAge range: Newborn (with carrycot) to 4 years | Maximum load: 45kg (22kg on each seat) across two seats | Product weight: 15.5kg | Dimensions: 87 × 76.5 × 41cm (folded); 104.5 × 80 × 102cm (unfolded) | Travel system-compatible: Yes | Orientation: Side by side What we love Combining style and sturdiness, the Mountain Buggy Terrain comes with both 12- and 16-inch air-filled wheels that can be interchanged depending on whether you’re running up muddy hills or jogging along smooth tarmac. I love my Out ‘n’ About double! It’s so easy and light to wheel, and narrower than it looks; it even fits through doors in my house. My kids are very comfy in it too. It’s heavy when folded down, and bulky in the boot of the car, but it does fit." Aesthetics: looking at the materials and colours, we considered whether it was stylish design or more of a practical pushchair, whether the materials were high-quality and if it was built to last to the maximum age limit.

Out n About Nipper 360. I was still running with this with a giant 3 and a half year old sitting comfortably" - Mumsnet user, Seacow87 Our verdict At the surprisingly slimline width of 72cm, the Nipper Double fits though all standard doorways and with a weight of just 12.8kg, it’s one of the lightest double buggies around. Out ‘n’ About Nipper Double V4 Newborn Bundle – Steel Grey FeaturesExtras: what does the pram come with? While a rain cover is essential, not every pram comes with one. If you want a bumper bar, you may also have to pay extra for this. Other accessories could be a cup holder, footmuff and seat liner. Age range: Newborn to 4 years | Maximum load: 22kg per seat | Weight: 12.8kg | Dimensions: 72 × 96 × 119cm (unfolded); 72 × 42 × 90cm (folded with wheels on); 71 × 36 × 79cm (folded with wheels off) | Travel system-compatible: No | Orientation: Side by side What we love Travel light: Try not to stuff too much into your storage basket and leave your changing bag at home if you possibly can. There’s no denying that the Peach 7 is pricey, but its versatility and slimline design makes it a great option for parents of twins. Available in a range of stylish colours and designs, it’s also a pram that will definitely turn heads.

I think it was really good value for money and you got a good quality pram that was easy to use. I like that both seats can be reclined fully and I liked how far the hoods came over. Also looking online you can get carrycots to fit in to it so it is suitable from birth, my children are a bit old for these now. This makes the life span of the pram long and possibly the only pram you may need to buy.

4. Best double running buggy: Out n About Nipper 360 V4 Double

Very impressed with it considering the price. It's used daily on rough, hilly moorland and no issues yet" - Mumsnet user, IamnotwhouthinkIam Our verdict To ensure the products were safe, Gemma chatted to Philip LeShirley, Product Safety Advisor at The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), who advised what to look for when purchasing a pram to ensure it’s safe to use.
