Their scientific name is Artemia Salinas and they have been living in the sea for millions of years. Next, they added in the brine shrimp, with Robin convinced they were eggs instead of shrimp that would activate in water due to science. After 2 weeks we have around 20-30 swimming around but they are still small for now and look a little like I would expect nits too rather than dragons. We were sent the Aqua Dragons starter set which included everything we need to get them growing and living.

We've had them going eight days now, and I'll be honest I really didn't think we'd get ANYTHING to hatch, as the whole thing sounds very gimmicky. The experience also includes signing a responsible Aqua Dragons ownership certificate, learning about the life cycle and anatomy of the creatures while you watch them hatch, grow through the naupuli stage to adults, eat, play and reproduce. They are very easy to set up and they take a week or so to grow to the point that you can see them swimming around the tank. We were recently asked if we would like to review Aqua dragons which is total nostalgia for me, as when I was younger I had Sea Monkeys which are similar and I didn’t actually realise they still sold them. We really enjoyed watching the Aqua dragons grow and I have to say it might of been more for me than the kids but we did all really enjoy it. The tank doesn't leak, for what you should use, the food should last week's, and by day eight you'll lose count of how many of these fascinating little creatures there are.
