As with all my mods, I wanted to add new class or playstyle and blood magic was next on my agenda. I took a different approach to some of the other mods. I wanted my blood mages to be anti-vampire. Vampires steal a blood mages greatest source of power and for that, they make for natural enemies. Over the years blood mages have found new methods of taking care of their unnatural enemies and this mod provides those spells.

Supernatural Reflexes: [Night Power] Works pretty much the same as the Slow Time shout, Supernatural Reflexes slows the world around you significantly while allowing the Vampire Lord a relatively faster movement speed. Misty Escape: When it drops to 0 hit points outside its resting place, the vampire transforms into a cloud of mist (as in the Shapechanger trait) instead of falling unconscious, provided that it isn't in sunlight or running water. If it can't transform, it is destroyed. While in the Vampire Lord form you are forced to use a 3rd person point of view and have access to two primary combat mechanisms: Blood magic and melee mode. Blood Magic Mode Dawnguard's entire main quest is focused on vampires. In addition, vampires are involved in the following Dawnguard side quests:Remade the visuals for Blood to Power, now you are surrounded in a giant orb of Blood Magic as seen in the new screensho, it also has a custom sound effect. Forget the whole “Holy Water, Silver and stuff are deadly” thing. That is just nonsense made my covetous movie people. However, like I said I don’t know about Garlic but I don’t think it’s deadly BECAUSE I LOVE GARLIC BREAD AND I DID THIS SPELL. No Vampire Stage system - Feeding is only a means to heal yourself, this provides maximum consistency with Survival Mods such as Sunhelm and Vitality Mode

To become a vampire in Skyrim you need to be infected with the disease Sanguinare Vampiris and leave it untreated for three in-game days. This will then transition into full blown vampirism, with all the powers and weaknesses that entails. You can also gain Vampirism without catching Sanguinare Vampiris by siding with Lord Harkon in the Dawnguard questline. Once you make a pact, it’s important to follow through, otherwise the vampire has the permission to stay indefinitely and cause spiritual and perhaps more tangible harm as well. 4. Reap the benefits or suffer the consequences If you want to catch Sanguinare Vampiris early on in your playthrough, without waiting for your encounter with Lord Harkon in Dawnguard, you can catch it quite easily from the low level vampires in Movarth’s Lair. Vampires in literature and the arts

The effect of the sun on the vampire has been completely reworked. Depending on the vampire's Blood thirst, they will take sun damage, which can burn them to ashes. However, it has become possible to avoid exposure to the sun in rainy or cloudy weather, or simply by staying in the shade or under water. The Vampire Lord is a form the player can take after agreeing to side with Lord Harkon in the Dawnguard questline. The player can then use an ability at will to transform into a magic weilding, winged demon called the Vampire Lord. Vampire Lord Combat Becoming a vampire is a blessing and a curse. A blessing because you get a whole bunch of cool new powers and passive bonuses and a curse because you suffer from specific weaknesses and a potentially debilitating aversion to the sun. Don’t worry though, with careful consideration of your build it’s possible to almost entirely overcome the downsides, and to augment and enhance the bonuses.
