And even though I should hate that in the manga, there are still moments of positive with the book like his " Taming of the Shrew" arc with his cousin. Even the art is too good for this sort of thing, with beautiful designs and images. Natalie (in Japanese). Natasha, Inc. October 26, 2019. Archived from the original on September 3, 2022 . The characters in this show have some of the most realistic depictions of human beings that I have ever seen. In a typical Isekai series, the MC and their party are often tropey characters, ones whose personalities can be described in a few adjectives, very one dimensional and uninteresting entities. But when it comes to writing compelling characters that resemble us humans, it is important to factor in the fact that mankind does make mistakes and that nobody is perfect. We are all flawed individuals that often make mistakes, act irrationally and hurt others. Most of us have plenty of good sides but also bad ones that we try to mitigate or get rid of. We have complex personalities, and these aspects are what defines us as human beings. The first opening theme song is "The Traveler's Song" ( 旅人の唄, Tabibito no Uta). The second opening theme song is "The Awakening Song" ( 目覚めの唄, Mezame no Uta). The third opening theme song is "The Inheritance Song" ( 継承の唄, Keishō no Uta). The fourth opening theme song is "The Prayer Song" ( 祈りの唄, Inori no Uta). The fifth opening theme song is "A Distant Child Guard Song" ( 遠くの子守の唄, Tōku no Komori no Uta). The first ending theme song is "Only" ( オンリー, Onrī). The second ending theme song is "The Way to Go With the Wind" ( 風と行く道, Kaze to Iku Michi ). All of the openings and endings were performed by Yuiko Ōhara. [52] Pineda, Rafael Antonio (November 23, 2016). "Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2017's Series Ranking". Anime News Network . The exact number of manga volumes has not been announced but, given that a lot of manga has over 20 volumes, a total of 24, like the parts of the light novel, would be a plausible number. At least, since the light novel is completed, meaning that all the source material is available, we can rest assured that the remaining manga volumes will follow in due course. And of course, it looks like there's plenty of material for a potential season 2.
