About this deal

You can work on multiple computers with your MX Keys Mini. With a Flow-enabled Logitech mouse, such as MX Anywhere 3, you can also work and type on multiple computers with the same mouse and keyboard using Logitech Flow technology. Or you should consider installing Microsoft PowerToys (available on Github). It’s a software that allows button rebinding—you can swap the Ins and volume up keys To charge, plug in the USB-C cable at the top right corner of your keyboard. You can continue typing while it is charging. The pads located on the bottom of the keyboard are rubberized despite blending perfectly with the shade of keyboard you selected, so you can use it across just about any surface and not have to worry about it slipping during aggressive typing, and you're also very unlikely to scratch anything either.

Nevertheless, I find the inconsistency in volume control and function keys (F11, F12 etc) to be slightly annoying. The process to mute (fn + F11) and decrease volume (fn + F12) requires the fn key, but increasing the volume does not. Furthermore, if you press fn while adjusting the volume up, it won’t respond. Despite numerous complaints regarding this inconsistency over the past year or two, Logitech hasn’t shown any intent to resolve it, so I won’t hold my breath. But here are a couple of potential workarounds to this issue: My only gripe so far is that Logitech Options has occasionally failed to detect the keyboard when connected via Bluetooth – it’s a strange reverse situation to what happened with the MX Keys. I’m sure this will be fixed with a software update soon enough. Bottom line The keyboard is also entirely wireless, Bluetooth specifically as Logitech has stated it believed in the capabilities of Bluetooth over wireless dongles (though the MX Keys Mini is compatible with the Logi Bolt USB Reciever), so you can't use the device with a connected USB-C. If you are a Windows, Linux, or Android user, your special characters will be on the right side of the key:Your keyboard is compatible with multiple operating systems (OS): Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, iOS 13.4 or later, iPadOS 14 or later, Linux, ChromeOS, and Android 5 or later. The build quality is also especially solid despite being lightweight and Logitech have taken extra care to ensure the product is eco-friendly, with the Graphite model using 30% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic, and both the Rose and Pale Gray models using up to 12% due to the lighter color.

It also has dedicated media keys, which makes it convenient to switch between songs or play/pause. Device Pairing and Compatibility Install Logitech Options software to get the most out of your keyboard. You can find more information here.

There are three keys located on the function row of note: a system mute, an emoji key and a dictation key. The mute button does exactly what you think it would – instantly mutes your microphone without you needing to hunt for the right option on your conferencing software. As this is a system mute, it works across everything from Microsoft Teams to Discord so you can avoid any embarrassing interruptions. In the box, it comes with the keyboard, a USB cable (a charging cable, it’s not a data cable), and some leaflets.

The Logitech MX Keys Mini is a compact wireless keyboard that comes in a sleek and slim profile, making it a perfect fit for small desks or workspaces. Its size is slightly larger than the Keyboard on a 14-inch Macbook Laptop, the buttons are more spread out with more spaces in between providing a comfortable typing experience.
