Honour Man is a woody spicy fragrance released in 2001 made by the perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer. This is an intensely masculine cologne comprising of spices, musk, and dark and rich woody notes; it’s breath-taking. The warm spices and deliciously rich base notes make this the perfect scent for winter and fall and it can be worn during the day or evening and for any occasion. This aromatic, spicy cologne will turn heads and is absolutely unforgettable making it a must-try if you like spicy scents. The patience had paid off. Out peeled a subtle rose on the dung heap, underpinned by some subtle smoke that gave it a masculine note. I don't find the campfire ash in the often described pronouncement. (Would also not be my thing)

The myrrh adds a balsamic sweetness and warmth and has a wonderfully spicy top note; none of the base notes are overpowering allowing us to feel the continued presence of the mint. This is an amber fragrance released in 2016; with its intensely smoky, aromatic, woody notes this is a dominant and intriguing head-turner. It’s a wonderful cologne that comes with a beautiful bottle as well. Definitely an amazing addition to the Amouage family. Each Amouage fragrance will contain at least one of the traditional Middle Eastern notes. The result is simply stunning and the addition of other notes ensures not all fragrances are alike. Therefore, regardless of your taste, this diversity will ensure you find a fragrance you love. Not long after the opening will you start to notice a few warmer notes. Boozy hints of plum, paired with warm amber start to reveal themselves, and together with the fresh and spicy opening, they create an almost soapy-like scent. The soapy feeling ensures a very contrasting scent, as there are influences of both fresh notes and warm notes. Amouage's new Myths Man has a promising mix of notes (chrysanthemum, orris, rose, rum, elemi, labdanum, vetiver, "ashes" and leather); its described trajectory, from chrysanthemum to smoke, sounds romantic and brought to mind images of flower and bird paintings, philosophers and poets from Asia. The base is comprised of oriental, woody notes providing an earthy and rich foundation, which pairs perfectly with the aromatic herbs and spices. The sandalwood and leather are prominent notes in the dry down and are combined with the sweet smokiness of the tobacco and vanilla. The amber warms the whole fragrance through, adding to the sweetness and injecting a strongly oriental feel, which is only added to by the musk. But we had a relaxing afternoon on the patio and I bravely stayed and sniffed the developing. Amouage can do that!

I love my Amouage scents, and this is no different, but this one is definitely a wild experience. A complete and thorough transformation. There is simply no other way to describe it. The heart of the fragrance contains incense, which is a strong and mysterious smoky note. However, the tobacco softens this wonderfully whilst adding a sweet and herbaceous aroma, which prevents the incense from becoming too overpowering. This cologne can be worn all year round but may not quite be warm enough for the winter months; it can, however, be used during the day, evening, and for all occasions. It’s powerfully long-lasting so if you want a cologne that will last all day at work and well into the evening for a night out, then this is the one for you. It’s a great addition to any collection. Not for a beginner, no. You have to WANT to understand it, or you won’t. This scent epitomizes the cliché “don’t judge a book by its cover” phrase in every aspect. From the appearance of the bottle into the opening, following through into the mid, and exiting out with its finale; it is an adventure like no other.Overall, Beach Hut Man is vibrant, cooling, and intensely natural making it perfect for the spring and summer. It has amazing projection and lasts all day on your skin; it’s so versatile and all-around stunning, it’s no wonder it’s such a popular fragrance. It does lean more towards casual wear instead of formal wear, but casually, there really aren’t any restrictions.
