About this deal

I encourage you to read the author's introduction or note before the poems because she explains her reasonings for what she wrote and how. The letter H can be useful to create some two-letter words but there are some longer, high scoring words too. Here are some examples. Yes. We are working alongside Wales Synod Cymru to ensure a range of resources which are most useful and appropriate are available in Welsh language versions. We will also be translating any video content to provide Welsh subtitles. What you are up to over Advent and Christmas? This needed way more shaping and editing. The other poetry collection I read from this author was just as bad, and I can see no learning of the art of poetry, no development.

This probably resonated with me the most right now and it was kinda scary to see it written down on paper 😵 This week we are looking at two words which may be confused by learners of English: produce and product. Improve your English with Collins. Michaela’s newest book, There Is Room for All of You Here, is an excavation of the past that leads to a celebration of queer love. It’s about complicated family relationships, reconciling with your insecure attachment style, finding a healthy love, and building something you hope will last. In the extreme, it may have been communicated to you in a thousand different ways that for you to be holy, you must rid yourself of yourself. If you room with someone, you share a rented room, apartment, or house with them, for example when you are a student. There is no stage. There is no confined space. The universe is not running out of room. There is an abundance to it all. YOU are an abundance of it all.And God created you to share this abundance with. You may have been taught, directly or subliminally, that to increase God in your life, you need to decrease your sense of self, your dreams and hopes and plans, your ambition and longings and desires; give them up, sacrifice them on the altar.

I am happy for her that she seems to appreciate and loves herself more and all that stuff, I really am, but then maybe write about that and don't bait me into buying something that it's not. I enjoyed this book immensely. The way it was put together and the honest words. Aries was my favorite section of the book being that I am Aries... But the rest was pretty dang good as well. I recommend this book to astrology lovers, poets and those who don't do poetry. Maybe it will change your views. This week we are looking at two words which may be confused by learners of English: scarce and scarcely. Improve your English with Collins. Some of the poems spoke to me and were okay, but I feel like I am just at a different place than the author is at this time in their life and their work was less relatable to my experience, however, I still enjoyed reading about their personal journey. The poems don't rhyme, they don't flow, and they have no rhythm. A few have no consistent theme, and some don't make sense. I had a hard time choosing a rating for this one. Like a previous poetry collection I read by the same author, the poems are very personal. Majority of the poems are based off of people they knew or met, or of herself, so it is difficult to rate something very personal. Michaela Angemeer (she/they) is a queer Canadian poet who’s passionate about sharing her healing journey and inspiring readers to spend more time with their feelings.

I really love this collection of poetry. It resonated with me for many reasons and whenever it came to the poems under my sign, I literally got tears. Well done. I highly recommend. Because in The Divine world - which is the world we live in - the human and the holy share infinite space; there is no end to what can be shared here; there's room for it all. I want to rate this 5 stars because there are poems in this book that I like, but I don't like over half of the book. The "chapters" seem random and I can understand why Angemeer put them in there like that but I just don't like it. And I am not saying that the 30% that are actually are about the zodiac signs are bad because they're not totally terrible, for example I liked how she introduced every sign by listing things that make her think of each of them.

I think she roasted Geminis once (ironically not in the Geminis chapter though) but then again calling us "two faced" is far from the best insult I've ever heard about my rising sign. And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in bands of cloth, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. My favorite was probably the Virgo chapter, where it's suddenly all about being a feminist and having mommy issues, like it's somehow a universal experience for all Virgos to not get along with their mothers. But friend, it doesn't even make sense...that an expansive, creative, luminous, Divine energy that is loving and compassionate and justice driven and courageous and gracious by nature would need you to clear out so that it can take the stage.

Jesus' birth changed everything and made room for us in God's Kingdom. As part of the Methodist Church, we seek to demonstrate our open, inclusive and welcoming nature by saying to all people, 'There is Room' for you. We want to make sure that we're producing resources and content for all the great things our churches and communities are up to over Advent and Christmas. Help us to understand what you're up to by filling out our short survey. Share this We get in our own way by adhering to toxic beliefs that divide and belittle and diminish, distracting us from the real work of the spiritual path, which is to go deeper, not get smaller. How does knowing that there is room for you in God’s story make you feel? Making Room in Bermondsey I enjoyed the astrology themes and that each section of poems dedicated to an astrological sign really seemed to care about more than the surface level assumptions and stereotypes of the signs. To say it was a modern poetic take on the signs feels accurate.
