Now here comes the challenging part: trying to give you a short solid review of this AMAZING fragrance.

The Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud perfume is popular among those who want to make a statement with their scent. It is designed to be long-lasting, so you can enjoy its captivating aroma all day. Just got it today. Smoky powdery. The campfire,smores type scent. Didn't like it at first blast..in fact, for a moment I thought I smelled a cumin type smell. Armpitty,lol..thank God it went away pretty fast..anyway, enjoying it now. Just had to get my nose adjusted. After it had dried down a while, and finished evolving, I was left with something.. Wasn't sure where I had smelled it before. But some note I get in my old Tresor Midnight Rose. Going to have a bath before bed and spray it all over myself and sleep in this smoky,campfire cloud. I'll update my review if anything changes or develops further. Also, this juice STAYS. I sprayed my arm yesterday morning, and I found it to be a bit suffocating through the night! So if you end up loving this juice, you may find this bottle will last you a while, as a little goes a long way. The performance is quite high and you are bound to have a 10~12 hours longevity and a sillage of more than six feet at its peak.I would say it's more of a men's fragrance because of the woodiness, but it's very sweet, and considering the nature of this sort of oriental fragrances, it could very well be pulled off by a woman. Today it’s freezing and snowing in England and I was going out and needed to walk a mile or 2 and I was looking for a scent to spray and my eyes went to this so o thought I’d give it another chance and sprayed 8 sprays on body and clothes .

I had a 10ml decant of this for testing as for me MM fragrances are always hit or miss, I love some, I dislike others, none of them are in the middle.

And oh boy does this develop! Like 15 minutes later I started getting the AMAZING woody sauna notes. It is such a gem! And it gets really close to By The Fireplace! I probably would not tell the difference with those two side by side! So if u can just ignore the opening of this fragrance (it's very ambery strong and something a little weird, reminded me of Bentley Intense lmao) then I 100% recommend atleast trying it.

I debated buying this for months. MANY months. Why was I so hesitant? Because of the gender poll here saying its more masculine than feminine. Well, I don't agree. 100% unisex. The notes presented in the pyramid above are spot-on except the Oud...unless that's where the tobacco and dried fruit notes are coming from. Yeah, maybe those Oud notes appear after about 3 and a half hours as a sweet almondy tobacco with dark dried fruits. first 5 minutes you get booziness, fruits that develops to incensy smoky oud with praline note .last but not least your left with incensy oud that lasts for hours.My first thoughts were that it smells like church incense with a sweet sugar and a general "orientallness". A very very sweet and incense-y, maybe a little medicinal opening. Dries down to some sort of general woodiness and the titular oud, which is obviously synthetic and does give that rubber tires smell a little bit. I get some sort of synthetic smell in the frag which I hate. Some sort of chemical woodiness I guess. Just messes up the whole fragrance for me.
