About this deal

This chocolate Easter Egg features a strong chocolate orange flavour without being too overpowering. The taste, too, would be more suitable for a child’s palette; the white chocolate is extra sweet, with the flavour bolstered by the colourful sprinkles embedded into the egg.

Hollow Egg: Sugar, Skimmed Milk Powder, Cocoa Butter, Cocoa Mass, Palm Fat, Milk Fat, Lactose, Whey Permeate (from Milk), Emulsifier ( Soya Lecithin), Vanilla Extract , Milk Chocolate contains Milk Solids 14% minimum and Cocoa Solids 25% minimum, Milk Chocolate contains Vegetable Fats in addition to Cocoa Butter Popping with a multitude of different colours and sprinkles, this is an egg which would appeal particularly to children.

You maybe delighted to know that the Kitkat Bunnies easter egg is gluten free and also mini eggs, they also have some other eggs which are gluten free too. Supermarkets are operating different opening times over the Easter weekend (Photo: Getty Images) Lidl

This large, hollow quirky milk and white chocolate character is aimed at kids, but the flaky coating is likely to cause a mess.We can't have chocolate oranges but we can have the one variety of the mini eggs so make the most of these Terrys gluten free treats while you can. But if you’re more of a purist and believe that Easter Eggs should be saved for, well, Easter, then you’re probably starting to shop around for the best options. If you’re looking for something a bit different, it might be worth looking at the Belgian White Chocolate Easter Egg with Pistachios from the Taste The Difference range.

As usual M&S totally out strip everywhere else with their gluten free easter eggs, most are gluten free but odd ones aren't safe - a couple contain "wheat fibre" too this year, I have missed them off the list though they do make a statement on the box about it being gluten free but use your own judgement on that one. While our aforementioned child enjoyed every mouthful she stole, we found the white chocolate cloyingly sweet with a grainy mouthful. With Easter Eggs having been on the shelves since just days after Christmas, you’ve probably already had a few cheeky ones between now and then.

And it even contains some fancy stuff you can dip the eggs into. Probably won’t be sharing that one with the kids then. The Mini Ombles are a more bitesize version of the original, though the chocolate doesn’t taste quite as high quality. The egg itself is a gigantic milk chocolate offering with some streaks of white and dark chocolate for decorative purposes.According to a survey by consumer research group GWP, 65 per cent of people think of chocolate first when asked about Easter, rather than its religious origins. It comes with 21 eggs (one big one and 20 smaller ones), plus some signage, so you can host your own Easter egg hunt. We presented this egg, with an aesthetic aimed at children, to our seven-year-old and she; literally squealed with delight. Though they’re caramel pieces, the caramel flavour is subtle here; the chocolate/crispy pieces combination reminded the reviewer more of rice krispie chocolate cakes - another Easter favourite.
