About this deal

Skeptical author Robert Sheaffer criticized Cook's book as "a classic example of how to spin an exciting yarn based on almost nothing. On the corners of the Internet inclined toward conspiracy, theories circulate that "Die Glocke" – a purported Nazi superweapon that has so far only been found in the pages of science fiction novels – might be hidden somewhere beneath those ancient mountains. Once they have unloaded all the equipment, a team from U-977 will be waiting near the harbor entrance gate.

He is an avid World War II buff and for many years made World War II wooden airplanes and sold them at local Saturday markets.

Its powers were believed to be so staggering that at the end of World War II, all of the scientists and laborers working on “Die Glocke” were murdered. According to Cook, Die Glocke was bell-shaped, about 4 metres (12 ft) high and 3 metres (9 ft) in diameter, and incorporated "two high-speed, counter-rotating cylinders filled with a purplish, liquid metallic-looking substance that was supposed to be highly radioactive, code-named 'Xerum 525. The underground complexes introduce the reader to the Nazi Lords of the SS, Generals Jakob Sporrenberg, Hans Kammler and Doctor Warner Eckert.

It is written in the style of conversation, make of it what you will but with out a doubt the Nazis were up to all sorts of things, a lot of which us mere mortals will most never likely ever even hear of.Facing the overwhelming power and equipment of the Allies, Hitler authorized the construction of Wunderwaffe (wonder weapons). With that, Corporal Entmeir began to snap a salute but stopped halfway and stood at attention as the general walked toward the mine entrance.

Its bell-like shape gave it the nickname “die Glocke,” or “the Bell,” but the purpose of “Project Lantern-Bearer” remains a mystery to this day. Mainstream reviewers have criticized claims about Die Glocke as being pseudoscientific, recycled rumors, and a hoax. While in technology and development division, he designed several tools and applied for patents that his company retained as trade secrets.More recently, historian Eric Kurlander has discussed the topic in his 2017 book on Nazi esotericism Hitler's Monsters: A Supernatural History of the Third Reich. The conspiracy of “ Die Glocke,” a purported Nazi Germany UFO/time machine hybrid has been around for years. But unless we're after cheap laughs, our hope when we pick up a book like this is that the author will, against the odds, build a careful, reasonable and convincing case. Those who built it were killed, and it was taken away to a hidden place where its power slowly poisons any mind that beholds it, even now. Kleiner criticized Cook's work as "ferreting out minor inconsistencies and odd, ambiguous details which he tries to puff up into proof", characterized the process of evaluating Cook's claims as "untangling science from pseudo-science", and concluded that "what is instructive about the book is the insight we get into how conspiracy theories seduce otherwise reasonable people".
