About this deal

Meta Knight has no use for an anti-air option because he’s more capable in the air than on the ground. Meta Knight looks tough and ready to cause mayhem and I think that is what we all want from this figure. None of Meta Knight’s moves are objectively best at catching landings, so rotate these as you see fit. It’ll send him into freefall, and he’ll get punished really badly, or even use it at ledge and SD with it, which really sucks as well. Redemption of a code and download of the content waives your 14 day right to cancel under the Direct Selling Regulations.

Since amiibo know how to recover without being trained, you don’t need to teach him Shuttle Loop at all for the amiibo to properly recover. While I may have reviewed the only new character from the four Kirby Amiibo already, it is no less interesting or exciting to take a look at this new Meta Knight Amiibo.

Functionality – As I mentioned in my Waddle Dee review, Nintendo currently says that this Amiibo only works in Kirby: Planet Robobot. Defensive playstyles do not really work with him, as most defensive gameplans rely on waiting for your opponent to screw up, and then hitting them with a dash attack at 15% and killing them with a ladder.A good overall gameplan is to focus on landing aerials into dash attack and more aerials, DSmash if the opponent gets too close, and abuse the HELL out of Fair and Nair. Comparison to Smash Brothers Amiibo – While this isn’t Battle Review (because I want to keep my Smash Meta Knight unopened), it is interesting to compare the two Amiibo. It’s a situationally helpful move that does get kills, so you should only use it rarely to avoid the risk of SDing. If you’d like to learn more about his metagame history (including how sad he was in Super Smash Bros. It has its highly situational uses, but the hitbox is terrible, and it runs the risk of sending the opponent back towards the stage – the amiibo doesn’t differentiate between which side of the hitbox it should use.

amiibo have different effects depending on the game: you might unlock new modes, weapons or character customisations, or even boost your amiibo’s abilities to turn it into your perfect partner - or a formidable foe! Max spacing is amazing in human play for setting up ladder kills, but well … anyways try to avoid hitting this with the tip of his sabaton. Meta Knight should also use Neutral Air as his most frequent landing option, with Back Air and Forward Air serving as his less-frequent landing options. If the opponent is getting the drop on Meta Knight from above, then you ought to turn up the dial on his aggression to get him airborne before that can happen. There maybe slight differences in colours, text and other presentation but the basic platform of the item will be what you purchased.Read more about the condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened and undamaged item in original retail packaging (where packaging is applicable). By the way, if you’re new to amiibo training, we actually have a fully written-out introduction guide. There have been a few exceptions in the recently-released Joker and Terry FPs, but said exception unfortunately does not extend to Meta Knight. Despite the AI issues we mentioned above, it’s still a multihit move that builds damage and can reach the opponent from a distance.

I think most people will end up feeling like you do though and I don’t expect this Amiibo to be nearly as sought after as the Smash Meta Knight. If you missed out on Meta Knight the first time then this figure will certainly be of interest to you, but even if you have the Smash Meta Knight, there are good reasons for getting this figure too. Doc Note: I am the worst at getting guides posted in a timely manner (life gets in the way of amiibo sometimes) – I’ve lost contact with this trainer in the months since I received his guide, so this is my best attempt at interpreting his instructions without the ability to clarify ambiguities. We specialize in gaming guides and essays for Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Xenoblade Chronicles, Super Smash Bros. Random Fire’s notes focus more on move usage than behavior patterns, so we’ll assume that his Meta Knight followed the generic amiibo training guide. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Tournament-legal bonuses: Almost all of Meta Knight’s attacks involve a weapon, so Weapon Attack ↑ is a clear choice! First up is Mach Tornado: it doesn’t have much utility when used on the ground since it only hits once and isn’t safe on shield.
